Default FORGET GOOD FIGHTERS, I WANT GOOD FIGHTS!!!!

Ok, Mayweather is a great boxer, but his fights are not exactly exciting to watch, the only thing that is exciting about them to me personally is seeing mayweathers defensive skills, is it just me or do other people want to see fights which turn into wars? 2 oppenents that are not scared of each others records and are willing to fight to the last breath, this in my opinion is why UFC is gaining so many supporters, the fights are unpredictable, and fights rarely end without a knockout or submission.

The last fight i remember that lived up to this was the Hatton vs tszyu fight, no matter what you hatton haters have to say, both fighters fought the hardest they could and produced a battle of determination, can anyone mention other possible fights that will be great to watch ? they dont nessecery have to involve great clashes of champions, just great clashes of fighting style.

Now there you go! Exactly! I see amatures almost every weekend and those fights are more exciting then the pros and only cost the public $6.00 to get in for like 15 fights or more!

It was a great defensive show by floyd. I was amazed he could look so good defensively against an elite fighter. To strategically and technically nuanced for my taste. I like the slugfests better. I like what oscar did in the first few round when he backed mayweather against the ropes and delivered about 8 body shots in a row. Too bad he didn't do that all fight.

Thats exactly what im talking about, although oscar lost that fight, he was trying to make it a much more exciting fight than mayweather was, he was fighting like a pro should fight, mayweather is still boxing like you do in the olympics, jab to score a point and move. I think they should change the criteria for professinal judges scoring so it favors the more agressive fighter, this will prevent fighters like mayweather running away for their whole career

I agree with you Oscar was pressing that fight for 12 rounds. Mayweather just countered I really had thought Oscar had won but the judges went the other way its behind the money nothing new!

Thats why I like to watch Undercard fights at the big events....Fighters are giving it their all to make it to the big stage and earning their money....It's not always the big names that make the good fights.....

I have to admit that is what makes me a Vinnie Maddalone fan....He will never be a world champ but you will never be cheated you ticket price either

he went with Hatton/Tszyu and not Corrales/Castillo I.....that fight will keep people buzzing for a long time....and the Amateur fights are a great place to watch fights but I have found some charge upwards of $10.00 to see...especially in St. Louis, MO
It feels good to be back home.

I like a good barn burner as much as the next man, but i do like to watch an amazing display of technical boxing as pbf put on, defence is an art aswell, nobody moans about Winkys fights, and pbf did you to fight on the inside at 130 and 135 he just cant match up like that at 154 so fights to his strenghts.
