Default Fights that could have been even better had they gone 15 rounds instead of 12?

    Some suggestions

    Barrera: Marquez
    Hopkins: Taylor 1
    DLH: Mayweather

What other fights could make the list

Barrera: Marquez was so close. Hopkins was pressing in the championship rounds to make up an early deficit. Perahaps Mayweather would have dominated Oscar towards the end with no room for disagreeing Oscar fans?

Here's a few...  I took your first two, Miles

-Hopkins -Taylor:  Just the first one as JT had pulled well ahead in the second bout.
-Oscar -Mayweathe:  I think Oscar won the 12th and hurt Mayweather with the late barrage.
-Ivan Robinson -Arturo Gatti (fight #1):  Nothing needs to be said
-Paulie Ayala -Johnny Tapia (fight #1):  Please see above
-Micky Ward -Emanuel Burton:  I know it was only 10 rounds! I'd watch 5 more rounds of that!

Damn good topic. There are so many that it's hard to focus on just one. I think about it during every 12 rounder where the fighters are dropdead tired. What the hell would they do if you tacked on the extra 3?

I think fighters would be in much better shape than they are now. The heavies in particular.

Exactly. Its about fights that are quite close and are not quite resolved.

The DLH: Trinidad fight is a perfect case in point
