He'll probably outbox Vic early and get stopped late.

Yeah! but we all know Vic is only as good as the quality of his opposition.
Hes fought some decent names but nothing major yet....
yup.. your right... like the last guy he fought.. man it was like a goat vs a cow.. the guy that he fought was smaller than umpaloompa from jackass
Maybe so, but the guy a lot of you are talking up Mijares fought to a draw with Maldonaldo who Vic completely beat down!!!

I don't know why you guys don't like Darchinyan, he's always in shape, always comes to fight, nearly always ends a fight with a KO.

Sure his style is not always pleasing to watch but I think he's gonna be tough to beat!

The beat down is true but you fail to mention Maldonado a natural Super Flyweight had to drop in weight to be able to fight Vic at Flyweight.
Thats like asking Vic to drop weight and fight Hugo Cazares.

Well the fact that he claims to be the best when he hasn't fought the best is for me the biggest NO, NO.....
He also runs his mouth like if hes done great things and beat some World Class oppponents when he hasn't.
You and I have had this talk before and we both agreed hes fought about 3 possibly 4 prominent/recognized opponents.

I think he has a pleasing style in the sense that you know he comes to fight but not pleasing in the sense that sometimes you find yourself asking what is he doing?
But I agree with you on the KO's.....

Yeah bro we been at it awhile now, as for the weight issue it's only 3 pounds plus I don't think anyone held a gun to Maldonaldo's head & said you gotta drop down & take this fight... he did it because he could & did make the weight fine & thought he had a chance.

You gotta give Vic time, everyone seems to avoid him. He was surposed to fight Narvaez on the Castillo/ Corrales 3 undercard but that fell through, he's been calling out Parra & Wonjongkam since his win over Pacheco. I think he's been after Wonjongkam since the Hussein fight.

I would have liked to seen him up against Montiel, I only hope after this bout he gets in there with guys like Mijares, Castillo, & Munoz.

I agree with the "What are you doing thing" but I love that he cocks that left showing you whats coming & still connects with it. It's like "Here it is now what ya gonna do?"

And let us not forget,I twice posted that GBP had offered a fight with Montiel,a much more proven fighter than anyone else Darchinyan has fought. Apparently,Vic never heard anything about it....

I don't like Darchinyan because he's over rated. He doesnt have 1 punch KO pwoer,it's cumulative. He was getting his ass beaten by a 33 year old who fought 3 times in 3 years and won because of an interruption. He has the most horrible style I have ever seen in the ring,it truly is atrocious. He has power for sure but not much else. And on top of all of this,he runs his mouth far far too much for my liking. I'm sorry,I just can't stand the dude,no disrespect to anyone.

Sweet Gamo, I think we been through this heaps too, but I think you gotta watch the Pacheco fight again. Vic was pretty dominate most of the fight. The interruption was due to fireworks going of nearby but remember Vic was there too. Pacheco as you say was 33 & could have benefited from the 10 minute or so rest period. Pacheco just new he was beat, started hitting low, lost points the got dropped from there it was all over!

Over-rated maybe but I've never seen him hurt! & it's not like his a defensive wizard. Darchinyan is gonna beat a hard little man to beat!
