Margarito vs Williams is a pick em fight for me.. If Williams has a chin and a good heart/mentality, I think he'll beat Tony because he has better physical tools. But if Margarito wins, he will imo almost definetly lose to the winner of Judah Cotto. Either one would beat him, he just isn't a talented fighter. Im surprised that you've been a hardcore boxing fan for so long, have watched so many great fighters at work, and you still can't see how ordinary Margarito is.

Almost as annoying as those fans that cheer for a boxer that so obviously cherry picks his opponents...who am i talking about...oh yeah, floyd mayweather. By the way, he didn't pass on Margarito to get to the payday people. He would have had it anyway. He took a fight with Baldomir for the same amount of money because it was SAFER. If he had taken the fight with Margarito and beaten him, he still would have had the fight with De La Hoya. Which tells me that he thought he would have gotten his ass handed to him.

The problem with Margarito is that he wants to get from A to Z without anything decent in between. Not only do I believe he has not earned his shot, but he also has not even faced a B rated fighter. He wants to jump in the ring with the best fighter in the last 5 years?

De la Hoya has ducked him on several occasions. And you don't think that Kermit Cintron is a "B" fighter? I know he's no superstar but I consider him a B+ fighter at the very least. And kudos to him for having the balls to get into the ring with Margarito.

Yea, but Floyd would make Cintron look like an amatuer. That win is not enough.

Well how do you make a name for yourself when all the top fighters that you want to fight run like a bitch when it's time to fight you? Please tell me. It's not that Tony doesn't want the fights, noone will fight him. Cintron had the balls to do it and now Paul Williams does. Floyd should fight the winner of that fight.

Agreed, Floyd should fight one of the top dogs in WW. I wanted him to fight Tony instead of Oscar, because IMO, Oscar poses a bigger threat. But, that's just what I think. I can't see Tony beating Floyd ever, but If Tony wins, he is supposed to fight Cotto(if Cotto wins), The winner of that should definately get a shot at Floyd.

Well atleast we agree on something...lol...I want to see Paul Williams come out of that tournament to fight floyd. However, I could definitely see floyd finding some bullshit excuse not to fight Williams if and when that time comes. Totally different story if Cotto comes out of this thing unscathed. Cotto has the power, the youth, and the star power. This would definitely be a fight that Floyd would have an extremely hard time avoiding. Although I would ultimately like to see Williams vs. Mayweather, the Cotto/Mayweather card is one that even Floyd can't run away from.

You make a name by beating williams easily, and the winner of zab/cotto. Then call Floyd out cos you have earned a shot.

Oh my god, you're totally right. Floyd is ducking him. A video made by an anti Floyd fan who loves Tony totally proves it. You know what I think? I think we should forget Floyd vs. Tony and put Tony in there with ten Heavyweights at the same time and watch him knock them all down like bowling pins.
