Hey, you seem to have alot of gym war stories

Got any on our best supermiddles ie Eubank, Benn, Reid, calzaghe, not really interested in Collins

Wow, I didnt do this intentionaly but as I typed that I remembered a story that a work mate told me the other week, he had a friend called darren liney he was a welsh parra whod be about 34 now.

Anyway, Darren was an acomplished amature winning some titles along the way (sorry for being ignorant but I cant remember what titles). His military base wasnt far from Collins training camp for whatever fight and his trainer gave them a call asking if they had any boxers who could spar with Collins for his upcoming bout. Anyway Darren and another lad went down and were under Steves trainers orders to keep it light and clean, Steve took liberties against them and went hard.

The upshot of this story is that, apparently, darren Limey gave Collins a hiding and knocked him out

Robin is one ofthe nice guys, always helping novices giving advice never seen him take a liberty in sparring, unless the other guy starts it got a lot of time for him. Eubanks is a one off his sparring was hard, he was all biusness paid top dollar and you were there to work. I use to take one of mine down for sparring and hed tune chris up, I told the kid to take it easy or hed be getting the sack Chris ,s reply was thats what I want. I thought at the time youre crazy Chris. A lovely guy very generuos and fun to be around

Scrap, do you think Robin has a cat in hells chance against Froch ?

    I certainly do.

Froch is a 30 year old 5 year pro and has not yet been tested.

Under the circumstances Robin looked good in his last fight, Froch has only gone 5 rounds in a whole year, is out till september and has had surgery on his leg.

Also I find frochs style will be beneficial to Robin, slow pace, static feet, low guard, easy to out jab and no expierience on how to deal with "old man" tactics.
