Default Felix Trinidad Vs Shane Mosley

This match was suppose to happen after Shane's tune up match against Winky Wright at 154, Since Winky schooled Shane the fight never happen. But if it would have what do you guy's think, take a vote.

I go with Shane...IMO the speed is at his advantage and Tito never has done well with Boxer's

I think Shane would probably get a decision. But, at 154, Shane was fighting alot more flat-footed. And, tito hits harder than Winky or Forrest.

I think Tito Trinidad had everything able to beat Shane except for a good defense, which at 154 I don't see bothering him too much.

Tito LOVED fighting on the outside and I think he could have used his skill very well vs Shane.....no offense to SSM though, he would have been no pushover

Shane has a great chin and would land three for every punch Tito would throw. Shane would probably stop him late

shane's fight with Winky wasn't a tune up fight. many people picked winky to win.

remember at first the March 13 2004 date was gonna be a fight with shane and mayorga but mayorga loss to spinks. after the Mayorga fight fell through there was talk of a shane tito fight but instead Shane fought winky. and later that year tito fought mayorga.

this is a really good point. at 154 Shane would just follow guys around the ring looking for one big shot. thats not a good thing to do against tito. i don't give a shit how good you chin is. ask mayorga.

I think Shane is technically a better fighter than Tito. Tito has the punch and the height, but I would pick Shane in a grueling inside fight. I would like to see Shane land some inside body shots and try to break down Tito. This is another fight where size advantage goes to the less skilled guy.

It's funny how Tito Trinidad did so many great thing's in his career and yet people still question his skill. That's crazy to me.

The only two guys to beat Tito were defensive masters. Shane is more offensive minded. He has great speed and power but he can get hit. No doubt Shane had the skills to make it a great fight but nobody can go toe to toe with Tito and survive long. Bottom line, if you can't keep Tito from hitting you, you are going to lose, period. I don't care if your chin is made of granite, Tito's punch would crack it.

A lot of people forget because of his two losses that Tito was a very economical and accurate puncher who could land bombs throughout the entire 12 rounds. This is what made him so dangerous.

At 147,it's pretty close,at 154,Tito knocks him out. At 147,Shane's faster, has better movement so that would give him ore of a chance. At 154.he's flat footed,Tito would beat him up. Shane has alway had problems with taller fighters and Tito is 5 11 I think and he has a shotgun like jab.

I will compare the trinidad that fought reid, thiam and vargas..

But i remember the exact circumstance of trinidad when he came back was..He was looking for the best..
And it was a harsh time for alot of the greatest fighters..

He wanted the big money rematch with de la hoya.. And he got knocked out by hopkins..
He then looked to fight mosely but mosely lost to winky wright..

and he then made a fight with mayorga who indeed was moving up as he had failed to make weight in his last fight and it was rescheduled at light middleweight..
Mayorga also had alot of momentum fresh off two wins over vernon forrest and a disputed decsion loss (Yes i do dispute it) Against spinks..

So he then took the fight with mayorga..

And people would say why not winky who beat shane..He took that next and we all know what happened

Frankly ..I love shane.. Not half as much as love tito.. Much respect to shane..

But the 154 shane that fought vargas and was flat footed..Who SHOULD have danced circles round vargas but had a good ol' fight with vargas in the first fight and stopped him when i had vargas up!

He would have probably been beaten A close ud or md by tito.. Tito had the power to keep a flat footed shane off him..And he was in great shape.. War with vargas for 12 shows that

I think shane would have faded late
