Hearns would beat Robinson
Obv you would sayrobinson.. But that takes the fun away from the game..
So my perfect welterweight would..
Be as vicious as roberto Duran
Have the skill and speed of leonard.. ( Not floyd.. He just doesnt throw combos)
Have the heart of Arturo Gatti
Have the power of Tommy Hearns
The chin of Julio Cesar Chavez
And last but not least.. He would have the ability to finish off and opponent of Felix Trinidad
*Late Edit* ..And who could miss this.. Diego Corrales ring smarts..Ala Corrales-Castillo..
Dont matter what you say, Spitting the mouth piece probably won him that fight..Amongst other things
Oh..And of course He..Would Be a She.. This is MY perfect welter weight..And SHE would be a stunner
Immortal Technique
I would have a good rounded fighter that can adapt and think on his feet. Styles makes fights, but a fighter that can adapt to the style of his opponent usually turns out to be the better man.
As for Ray Robinson, I wouldn't need to build a superman, I would only need a Carlos Monzon.
If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.
Carlos Monzon Chin
Mike Tyson's prime power
Emanuel Agustus' un-orthodoxness
Sugar Ray Leonards Flurries and Footwork
Thomas Hearns/Larry Holmes Jab
Cotto's body Attack
Floyd Mayweather Jr. Reflex and Stamina
(Manny Pacquioa's Heart/Aggression
Also Diego Corrales' Heart.)
Bernard Hopkin's Longevity
Muhammad Ali's Mouth and Charisma
Sweat Pea/Mayweather defense.
I left out intelligence and adaptability Ray Leonard or PBF are good.
Cotto's poker face.
ODLH's I can do no wrong attitude/Holy.
I think he meant just in Welterweight not fighters from heavyweight and middleweight ect.Originally Posted by Danny_G

What a fight that would have been.....
I love his fights against Griffith & Napoles some battles those were.....
Hearns is faster than Robinson has more power and has longer reach and height advantage Hearns at Welterweight was a beast and i would pick him over Robinson in one on one match up i mean how many people can say they outboxed Leonard that easily Hearns was great fighter a Welterweight Robinson has better resume no doubt but one on one match up i pick Hearns.Originally Posted by CutMeMicK

That would explain why I liked your choices they made great sense.
My bad.
But hey. The fighter I made would be pretty damn good, eh? LMAO
It would also explain why no one mentioned Roy Jones Jr.
Duh.
I need some slepp
I would also add JermainTaylor's charm of the judges and he'd be nigh on unbeatableOriginally Posted by Danny_G

I always thought Leonard was the best welter id seen. Robinson couldnt work going right to me thats a big flaw.
