Default Warren promises title shot! Umm

Frank Warren says the winner of this Saturday's big Commonwealth heavyweight clash between Matt Skelton (20-1, 18 KOs) and Michael Sprott (30-10, 15 KOs) in London's ExCeL Arena will definitely fight for a world title.

Ok guys, which title will it be....

    WBU? WBF? IBO?

We all know if he delivers on the promise, it'll be for the Warren Boxing Organisation belt.

BULLSHIT! as if this is going to happen. I feel truely sorry for Skelton as he is going round in circles. he needs to get to the USA and offer out a big name if he wants to go anywere after this fight.

A good domestic match , thats it !!!
Niether are even close to being world class !!!!!
Think about it, Warren must pay a fortune for cleaning bills , i mean the bullshit that comes from his mouth has to fall somewere !!!

Ps. If you watch Warren carefully you can tell when he is lieing , why ? because his lips move

We all know this is bs..

Im pretty much sick of warren's promises.. But i really want to see skelton tested on the world stage..

Of course briggs holds the warren boxing organisation title.. That'd be interesting..

I would really like to see skelton-chagaev also

I read an article like 5 mins ago pretty much hinting it's gunna be Chagaev. I can't believe he'd get a WBA shot. I thought it'd be WBO, since Warren pretty much runs em and Skelton is in their top 20.

I'm sure it will be the WBO as Warren can't get a fighter a real title shot.

He's just a lightweight and an amatuer.

I think you're being a bit harsh on FW if I'm being honest. He's done pretty well for a lot of fighters and those who leave do not exactly get the fights they want. Ricky's not exactly got the mega fights he craves since leaving Warren has he?

I'm not his greatest fan but he does get his fighters world title shots, so what if it's the WBO? This is a recognised belt now and often has the best champions.

I think he will deliver assuming it's Skelton who wins, and I hope he does. Skelton deserves a shot in a weak division.

He got Ricky one title shot. Since Ricky left...every fight he's had has been for a world title. If it'd been up to Warren, he'd have set up a Ben Tackie rematch rather than getting unification.

But after each of his wins he's given up the belts. What title does he have now?...the IBO, hardly a major 'world' title. If he'd stayed with Warren he wouldn't have been forced to go over old ground and fight Urango.

exactly, Ricky wasted 2 or 3 years of his career with Warren. He should've moved up to world class straight after beating Eamonn Magee, but Warren held him back and tried to milk him, which of course in the long-run backfired coz as soon as Ricky got what he wanted he fucked off. I would've liked him to fight Philips, Tackie and Oliveira straight after beating Magee, one after the other, but we got loads of pointless fights like Stephen Smith and Dennis Holbek Peterson and Joe Hutchinson in the meantime. I'd have loved to have seen Hatton - Oliveria in about 2001, 2002. Why couldn't Frank Warren pull in Emannuel Augustus instead of Joe Hutchinson if he's such a big-timer? Hatton - Augustus about 3 years ago is one of the best fights that never happened.

If people are saying that Hatton is shot now, which I don't think he is btw, but if so how much did that time he wasted fighting limited oppositin cost him as a fighter? There could've been some awesome matchups at 140lbs a few years back, but everyone else has moved up to welter and Ricky is almost stranded as a result.

Ah well. I have a sneaky feeling Hatton - Castillo will be the fight of the year, so as long as that prediction comes true I'll be happy.
