Default I almost forgot how dominate Lewis Was....

It seems like Lennox Lewis has been retired for ever!!.....

I forgot how dominate of a Champion he was and could have been a major force at any era throughout history...

His two losses were the nights of Rahman and McCalls' professional lives and they never achieved anything close to it again...Rahman won or was handed another world title but we all see how that turned out...

I still believe that he lost those fights due to arrogance and not coming in properly trained more then anything....

    AND HE COULD BANG!!!!

Never get tired of watching Lennox. He was a beast, and I agree that he would be close to the top in any era. For the video Daxx.

Yeah Lewis was a great HW...very talented with big punch, but he took some of his opponents
too carelessly...and some people may say that he fought the right opponents at the right time...
But I think great HW CHAMP,who retired at the right time and most of respect for him for not
    trying a comeback ...

He was and he wasn't he had good wins where he looked the buisness Ruddock Golota fights then there was other wins where he struggled with Bruno who was ahead on points and was outjabbing Lewis then there was his razor thin decision over Mercer but then there was his paintjob on Tyson even though Tyson was past it Lewis looked great in that fight but as i said Daxx he did dominate and he didn't he had nights where he looked great and other nights where he looked terrible.

Good Point....But like I mentioned about Arrogance...Many of Lennox bad performances were due to just that....Not taking his opp seriously....When he was on his game he was great

Lewis was a bum. over-rated with a very suspect chin. a fighter can't be "great" and get knockedout by Oliver and Rahman, 2 fighters that will NEVER be considered "great". his biggest wins of his career came against 2 fighters past their prime and most likely should of been retired. a washed up and shell of his former self, Tyson and a old punch drunk Holyfield that he was so scared to engage, it took him 24 rounds to eek out a decision( he actually won the first fight but not impressively). he got a lucky decision against Vitali because of cuts and instead of giving him a rematch like any true "great" champion would, he ran into retirement because what he wanted was a rematch with Tyson. a rematch with a washed up Tyson that he already beat and Tyson wasn't even asking for a rematch. now, does that sound like a "GREAT" fighter? IMO....HELL NO.

Lennix "The Lion" Lewis against the past great heavyweight lewis is a giant!!!!! great champ but too bad he retired after the vitaly fight. a rematch would of been great, lewis wasn't prepare for vitaly the first time around and it showed i think both guys didn't get enough time to prepare for one another, i just hope we could of seen both guys completely ready for one another in a rematch.

You must be crazy.Lennox Lewis was the most underrated champs ever. I think he reteired at 44-2. One loss early in his career and another one I scratch off because he totally redeemed it. He was a great champ and he deserves no less than that.
