I'm getting the feeling that Khan might get exposed by Limond who really is in doing some serious training for this fight and fully believes he can hurt him.
Alex Arthur says the same.
If Amir comes though this in style then for me we have an extremley exciting prospect on our hands but it's his chin that still worries me.
So in your mind is this the acid test for Khan ??Originally Posted by Smashup
Guys, further to the article, I found another interview with Limond...

Glasgow's Commonwealth lightweight champion Willie Limond insists he has made significant improvements since his only career defeat four years ago and will end Amir Khan's unbeaten record when the pair clash in London on July 14.
Limond's only loss in 29 professional fights came via eighth round stoppage against his fellow Scot and potential future world title challenger Alex Arthur for the British super-featherweight title in his home city in 2003.
But the 28-year-old Limond has since rebounded with 10 straight wins and and believes he has emerged better for the experience and ready to upset the former Olympic silver medallist.
Limond said: "The fight with Arthur was four years ago and it was my first major title fight. The better man won on the night but now I am more mature and I feel stronger, fitter and faster.
"Overall I feel like I am an overall better fighter now than I was back then. I've sparred with Alex many times since then and I know when I am sparring with him that I have improved."
Khan acknowledges he faces the toughest test of his career to date against Limond in a bout which is due to be one of the first events staged at the O2 Arena formerly known as the Millennium Dome.
Khan has enjoyed two swift victories since his gruelling 10-round win over Rachid Drilzane in London last year and is fully prepared for another long haul.
Khan said: "It is a good test for me and it is definitely my hardest fight as a professional. The fact it is for a title as well has given me that extra boost and motivation in training.
"I think Willie Limond is one of the best British fighters at lightweight. No-one can disrespect him because he has only been beaten by Alex Arthur so I know this is going to be a tough fight for me."
This will be a tough test for Khan. I'm starting to hope he gets beat. I really hate Amir's attitude because he thinks he's better than he actually is. He's good...but he has alot to learn to get to world level and I don't think he's weary of this.
At last. A competetive match up. I hope this guy really does come out and try to hurt Amir.
I wanna see a proper performance from our lad.

ICB-Not so much an acid test chin wise because Limond is certainly no 'banger' with only 9 KO's in 29 fights but very experienced nonetheless.
If Amir can get him out via a TKO then I'll be pretty impressed.
Limond knows his way around a boxing ring for sure
When I think about it, Amir was a greedy little shit, taking the million like that
If he had another promoter, he'd get much more respect
He wasn't looking for a promoter though. If Warren didn't come in with that huge sack full of money, he probably would of stayed an amateur much longer.
Its all Warrens fault

Undercard news...this is looking a good night
www.secondsout.com
Promoter Frank Warren has added several fights to his ITV televised card at the O2 Arena in London on July 14.
prospect Anthony Small challenges for his first title when he contests the vacant WBA Junior Middleweight Intercontinental Title against an as yet unnamed opponent. Small is currently 17-0 (11) and is coming off the back of a good victory over Walter “2 Guns” Wright at the UK Vs US Contender event.
Graham Earl is also set to return on the card, but it is not believed that he will be challenging for a title. This will be Earl’s first outing since being stopped in five against Michael Katsidis in February.
Dagenham’s Kevin Mitchell also makes a homecoming appearance when he faces Alexander Hrluev for the WBO Super Featherweight Intercontinental Title, in a reschedule of the match that was supposed to take place on the card that was dropped last weekend after Michael Sprott pulled out of the main event less than a week before.
Mitchell is already the IBF Intercontinental Commonwealth champion at Super Featherweight.
Both Mitchell and Earl will have one eye on the main event though as Amir Khan takes on Willie Limond for Limond’s Commonwealth title at lightweight. With promoter Frank Warren promising domestic super-fights in the not too distant future both Earl and Mitchell will be looking to get in the ring with Khan at some point.
The bill is also set to include WBU welterweight champion Michael Jennings, Kevin Mitchell’s younger brother Vinny and Nicky Cook’s shot at the WBO Featherweight crown against American Steve Luevano.
Smash. Great domestic line up this one.

Limond is not going to be a push over like the rest of Khan's victims.Khan is a very big favorite for this fight acording to the bookies he is a 25-1 to win. I think that is very harsh on Limond mite have a bet on Limond not sure what the odds are for him to win though, even though i think Khan will edge it but its gonna be close to call
I think Warren HAD TO pull something out the bag not just to save face after the Manfredo farce but to convince ITV ratings wise.
He knocked back ITV's original offer of a new contract a few weeks backbut he's hardly going to take the first offer they make to him
