This makes me a happy man. I am pro America and wanted the United States to regain some of it's former glory in the heavyweight division, but not if it meant Shannon Briggs was going to represent us.

I am so happy to see him lose the WBO belt that I don't care who has the dammed thing.

I was actually hoping that Wlad was the one that would get to humiliate Briggs. I love how they had all these pictures of Briggs up here..... Where are those people now??

It's bound to happen. We got some good up and comers tho. We'll have them all back in a couple of years. America has dominated the division for so long that its good to have some different countries challenge us for the spotlight. The whole "Cold War" angle has always popularized a lot of things in america and it should work for boxing too.
