the tyson that fought lewis would be beaten by roy jones..but not if roy tried to stand and deliever like he did in the first round against ruiz because had tyson landed like ruiz then night is over..but then roy hadn't been that motivated and sharp in a long time and i think he couldve pulled it off

Lennox hurt Mike after he landed those uppercuts in the first few rounds. I don't see Roy hurting Mike to get his respect or slow him down. Maybe make him miss yea. If he stand like what Lennox did the first round against Mike... Roy'll get flattened worst than what Tarver and Johnson did.

Tyson's knee injury played a big part in Williams defeat

i think tyson would have been motivated seeing as how he would have been fighting a naturally smaller man he would have had a little more adrenalin that night....and probably would have overwhelmed roy and all the tyson fans would have replied with a resounding "he's back"

even though he would have just beaten a smaller man....

But he wouldn't stand like Lewis did he is much quicker than Lewis.

As much as it pains me to say
    Tyson would murder him
Ruiz was picked for a very specific reason,he couldnt knock my dead grandma out

Ruiz is quite a tough nights work though he isn't that easy to beat and Tyson got knocked out by Mcbride and Williams and Mcbride couldn't knockout out my puppy to be honest that guy sucks.

The only "Top" heavy weight RRJ would beat at that time was probably John Ruiz and that is the path he took, the right one for him to achieve what he wanted. I think Tyson still would KO RJJ.

The Tyson that fought Lewis Williams and Mcbride wouldn't beat Jones.

I'm not sure that RJJ could beat all of them since the weight is an important variable against Jones and I'm not questioning Jones skills. But, you have great point, I had to clarify in my post that I was refering to Heavy Weight Champions at that time.

That was when he moved down and he was past it then Jones was pretty good at hw and would of beat a badly fading Tyson i don't care how Mcbride won he still won and Jones would have aswell Tyson could only fight good for 2 rounds at that point.

Jones had 1 fight at heavyweight against one of the worst champs ever and now he can mix it with Tyson don't make me laugh even an ageing Tyson after Lewis fight would have caught up with Roy and knocked him cold

Jones still carried his skills into hw and what was so special about the Tyson after 2000s ?? he was badly fading and could only fight good for 2 rounds like i said and he would never catch up to Roy he was way too fast for Tyson at that point in there careers.
