This would be a great fight a jab war but Lennox would catch up with Holmes by round 8 or 9 and take him out holmes were in the 220's weight wise Lennox was 240's a very big 240s i think he would be to strong for Holmes.

it really depends what lennox lewis it is? if its the 220lb lewis who blasted ruddock in 2 rds, id give that lewis a very good chance cause he was pretty quick at that weight but i have to stick with holmes he had faster hands and a granite chin, no way lewis would ko larry imo!

and this is coming from an anti-holmes boxing fan.....i think larry holmes was an ass-hole and treated his fans like shit......but his skill cant be denied

Prime Larry Holmes wins a UD/Possible stoppage, apart from Ali i think Holmes had the best Jab in HW history. Holmes could also counter Lewis and packed a good left hook. Couldn't see Lewis beating Holmes.

I am not asking you to disect the pereiods of their careers when they fought, I just think that you should check out Holmes' era if you think Lewis fought some bums

As I've stated before I think Holmes would UD Lewis, but you won't find many better resumes in history than Lewis

Most of these guys you have just mentioned were already victims im not sure if you know what i mean by that i'll you a example.

Ruddock= Tyson already beat him twice

Morrison= Bentt already finished him in less than 2 minutes and Mercer almost killed Morrison

Mercer= Holyfield already beat him Holmes did and Jesse ferguson enuff said

Golota= now i give him alot of credit for this win considering Golota battered Bowe twice

Tucker= Tyson already got to him BIG H and was 35 if i remember

Briggs= got a gift off Foreman actually forget that it was a robbery and he also got stopped in 3 rounds by that
other mediocre chump but i can't remember his name at moment

Akiwande= the hugger ?? well he may of had good record but imo he isn't that good of a fighter more of a hugger than a fighter im sure your agree


I won't go into the others but what im saying is that most of Lewis's best wins were washed up fighters like Holyfield and Tyson i give Lewis credit and im not saying Holmes beat better opp but he did dominate his era and beating some good undefeated fighters like.

Ken Norton some may say he was washed up but i disagree he almost beat Ali and he also beat Jimmy Young who was just coming off giving Foreman a boxing lesson.
