Thread: Wladimer isn't a great but i give him a chance against some of the greats

Now i not saying Wladimer is a top ten fighter but i think he could give some of the top ten a good run for their money every one top ten is different but this is my top ten
I think making a list of 20 would be more interesting then just having ten my top 10 in this order

Ali
Holmes
Liston
Louis
Forman
Lewis
Frazier
Tyson
Tunney
Rocky

it's my list so it not correct in other peoples eyes but any how this are the chances i give Waldemar against my top ten people

Wlad vs Ali- Ali to me is the greatest but think Wald would give him problems because he can box and is so pig to but i think Ali wins 8 out of 10 times.

Wald vs Holmes-Same thing i said with Ali, Holmes to me was the Ali of the 80's Holmes wins 8 out of 10

Wald vs Liston-Wald would have more of chance against Liston but still Liston wins 7 out 10 times

Wald vs Forman-Forman is not good news for Wald that chin of his at grant George 9 out 10

Wald vs Louis-Louis was good but god he is a old timer and think Wlad to big for him but Louis was tough but think Wald would win 6 out of 10 times

Wald vs lewis-Have to go with Lewis think he had the power to Knock Wlad 7 out 10

Wald vs Tyson-like forman he had power and was faster so Tyson wins 9 out 10

Wald vs Frazier-Well not as good as forman so i give him 7 out 10

Wald vs Rocky-Sorry rock was great but i a realistic Wald to big for him 8 out of 10

Wald vs Tunney-Yet again great fighter not big enough so Wald 8 out of 10

Mr140, in his defense, Vlad has the offense to hang with anyone. And thats a big statement. But, I question his chin, stamina, and mostly his heart. All the guys on the top tens of ATGs, have those things. Plus, they all have power.

Vlad is size and so is Vitali, meaning the size helps them. I like Vitali more than Vlad, he seems to be better balanced a fighter. But both are big guys who utilize their size well. . But skillwise I think they are limited. But they are fighting other heavyweights and heavyweights are lazy uninspired guys usually.. compared to lighter weight guys.

Any thing that you change on the outcomes that i have or ideas

I find it almost impossible to compare fighters from different eras because there are so many factors that go into determining who would be victorious.An example would be Ali vs Wladimir.The first thing is there was absolutly no fighter back then that was as athletic as Wlad had the power of Wladimir along with the height and reach in one package.The closest would be Foreman but he lacked the Athletic ability of Wlad and was slower and was not as sharp with his punches plus he fought in the 220lb range compred to the 240lb range for Wlad.If there was a legitimate fighter that was similar in all these areas then I could give you an outcome to your matchups.

listen don't think i am attack Wald i love to watch the guy because he is good for boxing but come on now he has had some loses that i don't Think Ali would of had Brewster for example and in my mind Ali could give Wald a boxing leason but that is just my opinion on so take it like a grain of salt.

I wouldn't give Brewster a lot of credit for that win, it was more because of Wladimir throwing to many punches trying to finish off Brewster after he had put him down and just punching him self out.Well Chris Byrd thought he would give Wladimir a boxing lesson as well but that didn't turn out as planned.

I am comparing a guy who depends on boxing skills rather than power alone to get wins.Byrd and Ali were both about the same weight and had about the same ko%.I am simply trying to use a modern day example of a boxer and how he did against Wladimir trying to beat him using boxing skills alone.

Ali has a better chin then Byrd and better stamina then Byrd and a longer reach not to mention the skill difference and has more power then Byrd not good example for me.

Yea and one more thing is that i think Wald would end up getting cut by Ali and losing as well i dont Know what is up with the Klistchos but the cut if you breath on them.

Well if Ali headbutted him he might get cut otherwise I don't see that happening.
I guess what you really want is for me just to agree with you and say Ali would beat Wladimir because he is the almighty boxing god.

Oh please Byrd is natural Cruiserweight and is tiny hw Sanders put Wlad away in 2 Wlad is an ok fighter with good jab and good right hand he would only beat two on that list maybe one but Holmes Foreman Ali would kill Wlad hell actually im not Tysons biggest fan but he would put Wlad away in 2 aswell and maybe would do it in the quickest time than all the others on that list except maybe Foreman.

I think Wlad is probably weakest champ now both times he has won a title its been off the same little heavyweight Chris Byrd Wlad needs to be fighting the other champs or at least somebody better than Brock and Austin had Peter had more experiance he would'nt have got by him.

Wlad is best champ out of the champs today which isn't saying alot to be honest most of the champs from any era would rule this era with ease Tyson would ko everyone in about 2 rounds only one that would last any long is Samuel Peter Holmes would jab there heads off Ali would make them look stupid and dance around them saying *WHATS MY NAME* and Foreman would just damn right kill them like i said Wlad is an ok fighter he has some good skills but his chin is weak and Wlad was even floored by DaVarryl Williamson these Klit fans need to realize Wlad has some skills but his chin is weak and is the champ in weakest era of the hws and still hasn't dominated it yet.
