Thread: Robert 'Pikin' Quiroga vs. 'Kid' Akeem Anifowoshe Robbery

Just watch this fight on youtube great fight by the way but how the hell did they have Quiroga winning this fight this was a robbery Akeem easily won this what a disgraceful decision.

I dont think you can call it robbery, I did see the whole fight , every round was close, there is no way I could score that one. Robbery, no way. I forgot what the scorecards read, but if it wasnt within 2 points either way, I would question it. Awesome fight tho.

I thought Akeem won it by 3 rounds maybe 2 he was aggressor constantly Quiroga would try and steal the round by doing late barrage but imo Akeem won it comfortably.

Robbery?

I've seen the fight plenty of times I saw it live and I've seen it since I don't have a problem with Quiroga wining. I also wouldn't have a problem with a draw and I def. wouldn't have had a problem if they would have announced Akeem with the win.

The truth is the rounds were close those things you call 'barrages' where some hard punches that would rock Akeem.

Again close fight, robbery I personaly don't think so.

Ok maybe i went little bit over the top with the robbery thing just i felt frustrated because i just watched it and i thought Akeem won by atleast 2 rounds i think it was close after 6 rounds but then Akeem was constant Aggressor and Quiroga tried to steal the rounds late on but Akeem done most of the work in later rounds and won both 11th and 12th.
