    No he served his course in the boxing world he had good career giving Frazier two hard fights beat Chuvalo lost to Ali he was never quite elite but he was solid hw with granite chin but never elite.

    But thats still a force in the division,not unlike Ron Lyle,or Jerry Quarry,he had just won his last 7 fights(admitably except for Middelton they were all tomatos,but still)and except for a questionable knockout by Ali,when he lost it was allways by decision.(they didnt make Ali go to a nuetral corner)

    Well Holmes was not long to peaking a new era of boxing was coming and he wouldn't of beat Holmes i think Jimmy Young would of beat him aswell he could of beat top contenders but imo he wouldn't of beat the guys i just mentioned.

    What makes him interesting,is he could come out of nowhere with power,he had Frazier down twice in the second.
    If that fight had been on a 10 point must,instead of a round count,he might have won it

    Now you make it a ten point must,Frazier was down twice in the second,so that would have been a 10-7 round,so its either a split for Bonevana,or a unanimous

    I have this fight i remember it being close and i also remember how well a very green Frazier done to survive the second i would have to watch it again because i can't rememebr what i exactly had it.
