You know the kid has genuine skills he's pretty good at doing what he does, so he can actually can back it up, the only time his mouth went too far was against Cotto, even predicting a shut out, but IMO every cocky fighter has a rude awakening ( except PBF ), so Cotto beat his ass real good so he learns, and actually he's not talking as much as before so that is an improvement.

It doesn't matter....the way I figure if you're a sharp defensive fighter you keep your mouth shut and make the guy look foolish by trying to hit you.

Paulie reminds me a lot of Macho Camacho....and this is after his "power outage" of course

Who cares what color his hair is?...He is a pure boxer, no power but doesn't run either, which is refreshing...He puts out a nice volume of punches and shows plenty of heart...He got beat down pretty good by Cotto but never quit and has the courage to fight Cotto again understanding that it would be a physical beating (ask Zab if he wants any more?), but he believes a can win...Believeing you can win is what makes great fighters...Paulie doesn't grab and hold like most underpowered guys, he fights... and you hate him for his hair?!?!?

Listen to his post fight interview, he shows respect to other fighters no matter who...ask other fighters that train at Geason's...Paullie's no asshole he just wants to market his fights....Paullie's is certainly no PBF but he's an exciting fighter love him or hate him...you want to watch him.
