the man fears noone
i hope he doesnt fight mosley tho, that would be dumb, mosley can beat him, and if he does it would look so shitty on paper, that he lost to an old mosley

Cotto would beat Mosley. I agree,Cotto fears no one. And a los to Shane would not be so bad,Shane is active, dangerous.
Cotto is definitely a warrior in the same mold as some of the past great champions. However, I do agree that Mosley would be one of his most, if not the most, dangerous opponent for him. His combination of speed, power, and ring generalship would be tough for anybody at 147, including Cotto.
it wouldnt be that bad, but the fact that he is so old now would look bad, although a loss to mosley isnt that bad
he could beat mosley but i think mopsley would end up winning if they fought, although at this point if mosley cant maintain a high pace for 12 rounds cotto would probably KTFO him
im hoping at some point he decides to finish the job against magalini, but i almost dont even want magalini to have the chance to make the money that cotto now draws, its one of the shittie4st things EVER that cotto was weight drained and unable to finish magalini, and that little bitch tried to make some nonsense excuse himself
all of reality should dictate that i now hate cotto.... but that hasnt happened, and i dont think it will, part of me doesnt want to see him end up retiring undefeated, but i dont think it would bother me that much if he did, i really fuckin hope he somehow gets mayweather in the ring with him at 147
Wow Sal........ I'm not used to seeing this side of you. It's.... it's....it's...well............................... ........Originally Posted by SalTheButcher
weird. (But in a good way).
And by the way, Cotto-PBF at 147 wouldn't be the "walk in the park" for Floyd like most of his fans think. IMO.
tbh cotto has done nothing to show he fears noone... im not calling him a ducker, but as of yet i see nothing that screams "i fear nonone"Originally Posted by SalTheButcher
He hasn't ducked anybody yet (and probably won't). That alone sets him apart from a healthy portion of today's champs.Originally Posted by Preme
don't get me wrong, in no way am i saying he has or will duck anyone...Originally Posted by TitoFan
thing is though, who of real threat has called him out? mayweather hasn't, hatton hasn't or didn't at Lw, mosely hasn't - i mean the way i see cotto is as a boxer, he has faith in his team to get him the fights, all he cares about (and as a boxer should) is being in shape and doing the job in the rin, lots of respect - i get pissed at people who give fighters shit for not acting like a promotor...
but what im saying is, as of yet no real dangor fighter has called him out for him to go at them if u understandme
he was willing to fight judah, who most people dont know, and who could have easily KTFO him if he caught him good, and that was a fight he took to stay buisy before he fights margarito, i dont think there is anyone he would refuse to fight, he is willing to fight anyone arum wants him to at this pointOriginally Posted by Preme
I don't think Mosley is all that especially now. Sure he beats Collazo and Vargas, but that doesn't prove a whole lot to me.
Cotto is a top solid fighter he just to keep fighting the best Mosely is all wrong for him though Mosely has the skills and he is very slick.
he doesnt really do that tho, he doesnt talk shit and put himself over like that, but im pretty sure he would take a hatton or mayweather fightOriginally Posted by Preme
cotto should try to get vargas to fight him, that would look good on paper, and it would get alot of the mexican fans to realize that cotto is the real deal
Naw, I understand what you're saying. But I slightly disagree in the sense that I DO consider Judah to be a "danger fighter". Just 'cause Cotto physically dominated him does not diminish from Judah's stature. As a matter of fact, if anything, the Cotto fight elevated both their stocks, IMO.Originally Posted by Preme
