Default As a trainer how would you prepare your man for pbf.....

Me and my wife were discussing PBF (she hates him !!) and she asked me a very good question. " What would you do ?? How would you beat him" I thought about it and i really didn't have a good answer. He has been presented with a lot of different situations and handled them all pretty well....He's fought bigger guys, tougher guys, faster (well some think so) guys, but i don't think he's faced anyone smarter than he is in the ring...with most of you having way more knowledge and experience in the sport than i do i figured some one here has got to have a answer !!!!

Simple a baseball bat and some confetti try to take him out with bat if you cant catch him you could have more chance of hitting him with the confetti the guy is awesome no doubt in my mind about that.

The ONLY thing I could think of is to try to get him to come forward. You can't really fight floyd when he's goin backwards because he's the master the defense. Also hope your fighter has a lightning quick jab and a noticable reach advantage. Not sure about any of that, but it's my best guess lol.
Be interesting to see who can crack the code of PBF.

The hardest thing about training against him is that he boxes like Bruce Lee did Jeet Kun Do always adapting to what you are doing and not instigating things.

That's why I think luring him into having to lead could screw with him.

Gotta agree...everyone tries to mug PBF or pressure him, why not let Floyd come to you? He is a master counter puncher so make him initiate a bit, if he's forced to come in maybe you can catch him or a least take him away from what he's comfortable doing...

well, it worked well in the first fight, but look at the second fight. PBF figured out that style,
he just uses the jab and more lateral movement and voila your sucking wind and
getting tattooed with jabs all night long.

Still think hatton is the man to beat him, not saying he will but its the one style i can see which could frustrate the f**k out of Floyd

I most definitely feel that the key to unlock Mayweather's defensive shell is to step inside the distance faster than he can counter punch your way in and then put super-fast blurring combos with equal proportions of accuracy punching and power... If you start downstairs, you'll expose his upper-body and he won't have time to roll over his shoulders and make ya miss with the last punch out of the combination, a big blast to the head... Needless to say Suga Shane would have the experience and the technical/physical attributes to keep Floyd puzzled and inactive at times... Concerning Ricky, he has an advantage over Shane, he gets faster inside the distance with faster footwork, jumps in and tags with a volley sort of hook, what Hatton needs to develop fast is the way to keep his intensity going at very close quarters with the proper balance and head movement instead of fading fast and tyin up his opponent.

Wait. Wait till Mayweather gets older and hopes he loses a step. Cuz right now he's in his prime. And he ain't losing. No matter how much preparation one does.

    LOL Mick

I'm not sure what I would do exactly, but it would involve smoke and mirrors.
