Trinidad was considered by many the P4P king when he fought B-Hop. I know, I know, some people here will say that Jones Jr was always #1 until he lost. You know that old hind sight is 20/20 thing but the fact is that at that time Jones was being seriously criticized by his level of opposition and Tito's big run to the MW division had placed him #1 in many boxing fans P4P lists.....

    And then he was dominated

tito was never number 1...he only beat joppy and that no way would have had him leap shane mosley who was still undefeated and ranked no 2...

Yep Toney was the p4p 1 going into that fight..44-0 with wins over fighters starting with his Kayo over Michael Nunn , then McCallum, Barkley, Williams, Johnson, Thorton, Wolfe, and Littles...The fight with Roy was billed as "SomeBody's "0" has to Go!"

Enzo Maccarinelli dominated Bobby Gunn last time out...does that count?

Seriously though, I know many will disagree with this, but quite a few people called Naz p4p best at a time and he was dominated by Barrera. (I know people will say it was stupid, but i remember him being considered that.)

Yeah but he clearly dominated Chavez in that fight, he just got robbed by the judges. Even everyone in the stands knew it that night, that Chavez was beaten.

I'm not sure about "undisputed #1 PFP," but there have been plenty of times where a #1 PFP candidate was dominated.

Toney was considered by many to be the #2 PFP guy (behind Pernell) when Roy dominated him.
Chavez was considered #1 PFP when Pernell (who was considered #2 or tied for 1st) dominated him.

Mosley was considered top 2 (behind only Jones) when Forrest dominated him.
