So has FW signed a new deal with ITV then, or is it just for this fight? Last I heard they were dithering like a bunch of ditherers. Does this also mean the following week's fights from Cardiff are on TV too?

I think it's just for this fight at the moment, ITV are pissed becasue of the Clazaghe/Manfredo sham and want Frank to guarantee some better match ups in the future, i think Calzaghe / Kessler will seel the deal!

To me, I can't see Warren wanting to give that one to ITV when he thinks of the money that could be made from PPV on that fight, he might want to flog it to sky. Macca's fight better be on tv, I'm still not decided on whether to go and record it, or to go out and get drunk, and watch it when i get home. My worry is that although Macca is a big name, he's not Amir Khan's level and ITV might not take it.

Do you really think that Calzaghe v Kessler would be a PPV hit? I dont Apart from the boxing fans people dont know who Kessler is? No way that would ever be PPV IMO.

Thanks for the information, I couldn't find anything on ITV's website. I'm hoping the Cardiff card is going to be on TV somewhere too.

I'm pretty sure Calzaghe vs. Kessler is going to be a 2 AM job because otherwise the Americans are unlikely to put enough money up for it. Calzaghe vs. Lacy was a washout at that time for ITV so it'll probably end up on Sky and us paying 15 quid to watch it.

Still haven't heard anything from Warren regards a long term answer ITV must have been rightly pissed off at the quality of Bobby Gunn and Peter Manfredo

If he can fill a 30,000 stadium with people with the manfredo fight, I'm sure he can sell three or four times that in PPV's, especially with his welsh following.

Let's say 90,000 times £15....(if you were here...you'd hear my brain ticking gently at this point)...that's £1.35 million, and for Frank and Sky to get it together, that's probably more than they'd get to show it on ITV.

I would thought it would be the ideal time to have a go at making a star out of Nicky Cook. I'm not surprised he's only on ITV 4 and not on prime time but it is pretty shitty. He's fighting for a world title afterall. Does anybody know if they are shwoing small vs pryce because that should be pretty eventful?
