Default Can't wait for the action this weekend!

So many fights this weekend it's going to be an entire Sunday in front of the tv for me! Thank God there is no Grand Prix on else I wouldn't even have to time to eat!

    Consider the lineup.

Friday night we got three great fights.

Christain Mijaires is on PPV then we have Allan Green on ESPN and one of my fave British fighters Carl Johannson is fighting also!

Saturday it's just an no hold's barred orgy of boxing with sooooooooooo many fights.

Margarito against Williams could be fight of the year.
Cintron against Matthyse could well be fight of the year with both fighters have 95% KO records
Gatti vs Gomez could well be fight of the year, after all it's Arturo Gatti fighting a brawling journeyman.

Also on these cards we got Chris Arreola and Andre Ward! Giovanni Lorenzo takes on one time hot prospect Sherwin Davies.

Then we got Roy Jones Jr, always a spectacle.

John Duddy is making his Irish debut, and then we got an awesome British card with Nicky Cook fighting for a world title, Matt Skelton in the final final final final final British eliminator for a world title shot definitely maybe and of course Amir Khan's first title fight as takes on Commonwealth champion Willie Lemond.

Finally one of my favourite overseas fighters Steve Molitor is defending his IBF title as well!

    WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I make that 15 MUST WATCH FIGHTS!!!!

This surely must be the best weekend of boxing in 2007 and I'd say better than any weekend in 06 too.

Yeah this weekend is amazing. Not the biggest names in the sport but some great matchups. I just wish we got more of these fights in australia.

Roy Jones is gonna take a major hit with the triple header on the same night, for free.

I was thinkin the same thing. Who's gonna pay for RJJ when so many good fights are on for free?

Been to see Cookie a few times via Saddos and sat and chatted to him at ringside last year and he really is a diamond so to me it's gonna mean so much if he brings that strap back to London and i think he will or he'll go out on his shield trying.
Just wait and hear the Noise his fans bring
If he gets his jab going and the left hook to the body (his top weapon) early and starts dishing it then he'll break him down probably on points i think.
    Expect some claret too
    Gwan Nicky!!
