Mr Buffer

I remember Michael Buffer doing some announcing with WCW for a short time. But the guy that announces UFC is Michael's brother, Bruce Buffer.

I have to go with Michael Buffer here. I think he has set the standard.

Yeah it does sound like your watching a fight form yester-year when jimmy is anouncing it, its pretty cool... but buffer everytime for me....

My vote goes to Jimmy Lennon. Michael Buffer became famous because of "Let's get ready to Rumble!!!". I'd say he stole that from the great Howard Fink!

Something I'd like to share with you guys.

I was at a fight about 2 yrs. ago and a friend of mine walked up to Buffer as he was standing talking to someone, when Buffer finished talking my friend asked 'Can I take a picture with you?' Buffer turned looked at my friend and walked away.
My friend yells out 'Fuck you Buffer, it ain't like your the star here'
Ever since then I've said FUCK! Buffer.

Another thing is Lennon is original his lines and way of announcing is his unlike Buffer.
Not sure if you guys know this but Buffers 1st original line was....
'Man your battle stations' Now THAT'S fwocken wack..... IMO.

Actually according to Buffer he go the 'Let's get ready to rumble' from Ali.
(So the story goes)

I like them both but I liked Jimmy Lennon, Jr first. He sounds so much like his dad.

That guy pissed me off so much. He's terrible. I voted for buffer. Lennon's not bad but "let's get ready to rumble" is damn near immortal at this point.

Mick, don't hate on buffer just because he's above you and your friend :P. It's hard working being eventually buried with a face thats 1/10th as old you.

I prefer Buffer, but lately he's been bugging me with these summations before reading the results. Chuck Hull All time best though

Me too. Although I sometimes get irritated when Buffer stretches some guys name waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out, the "Lets get ready to rumble" before a big fight can give one goosebumps.
