I haven't seen the fight but from what i have been hearing is that ref was telling off Reid for hitting Ottke

Also a knockdown that was ruled slip that should of been counted as knockdown so i heard and basically just outboxed Ottke from what i've been hearing can anyone who watched the fight tell me about it and was Reid robbed ??

I think Reid edged the fight by a point or two. But it was close. And I don't really have a problem with Ottke winning. 115-113 seemed reasonable. But one judge had it a ridicules 117-112 for Ottke. The ref did seem to be a little against Reid. Warning him about everything. But if you watch the fight you'll see he was also warning Ottke. The knock down was clearly a slip. The reason people labeled this a robbery was cuz Ottke had already said he was retiring soon. And a lot of people wanted to see him lose. They did not want to see him retire undefeated. They felt Reid had done enough to win. But didn't get it.

Poor Reid. Beat both Calzaghe and Ottke but gets no credit for it.

Im dont have a probeom with people claiming robbery, in in ideal word Reid would have got the nod. Reid was his own worst enemy that night, he won the early rounds at a canter but then allowed Ottke to come back into it. Everyone could see what was happening, the corner were going berserk with him for sitting back and watching it slip away but he either couldnt or wouldnt respond. I think he'd made his mind up to play the hard done by in Germany card long before the final bell which is sad.

Reid was robbed but he could of done more. Ottke was quite classy towards the end of the fight. But he complained too much and the ref was on his dick.

after the fight Reid said about the judges "At least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed people" The ref was absolutely awful. Where the IBF found the clown is beyond me. And unfortunately when Reid boxed Lacy he got hit with an illegal punch that the ref did nothing about and effectively lost the fight at that point

Good point about Reid. Something that gets overlooked in that fight although hardly surprising considering the ref blatantly took the piss.

Well thanks for your replys guys ccs allround i gotta watch the fight myself then i will give you my own opinion.

The fight was close but Reid was very inactive late in the fight.
