Thread: Khan v Earl set for December 8th (Khans in trouble now!)

Not the biggest Amir Khan fan but something tells me he is gonna pull through this one.
As was previously mentioned the controversy in the Limond fight will have taught him a thing or two!

I believe Khan will win either UD or late stoppage.

Earl took a shlacking from Katsidis. I believe that Khan will be too quick and will outbox him. Ricky Burns did that to him and pulled out the victory although you could argue Earl was not really up for it. However whether a 12 rounder or a tune up surely you prepare properly for every one.

Exaclty if Ricky Burns can beat Earl at long range Amir will have no problem, Earl is shot imo.

As I'm sure you've seen on our front page, Jon Thaxton has offered to fight Amir Khan on the 6 October, which is probably meant to be a tune up fight for the Earl bout. I don't see Warren taking up the offer myself...more likely to be a rematch with the mighty Steffy Bull or someone of that ilk.

Even if Thaxton doesn't get him in the ring himself, he's increasing his own profile by constantly challenging Khan.

I think Earl will get up bang up for this and put Amir on his ass

Not to pick on a mod...but change the tune already Smash. This is the third post of yours you've managed to say, just in this thread, that Earl is going to KO Khan. You're turning into an old bloke....just playing the same tune again and again.

BUt he put katsidis on his ass and was giving it back right up till his corner pulled him out (he'd fight to the death Earl-would Khan...?)
I'm telling you the wheels are coming off and Earl KO's him

fair play to Khan though and i DO want him to succeed and Go far and this threads popularity is partly due to him but mostly due to me

Smash i respect you alot, but come on? Earl could of been taken out in a bodybag if it had gone on any longer, he caught him with one good shot, other than that it was brutal.

You gotta wonder how much Kats punches took out of him. I mean Kats punches like a menace and Earl took some nasty shots that day. Very interesting fight IMO depending on how much Earl has in him after the Kats fight.
