And that's the bottom line cus Stone Cold said so!

I am rooting for Hatton and I wish him luck.

Cotto vs PBF at 147 and then I will be excited.

Not to keen about Hatton/PBF at 147.

Hatto should have insisted it be at 140 since Hatton is the best at 140.

    Is there a rematch clause?

Hatton called out PBF so he has little say in the weight.

Hatton is the best at 140 and that is the weight they should be fighting at. But what ever. I am not a huge Hatton fan but I think Hatton is making a mistake. Floyd should be fighting a true Welter at 147 and not little Ricky.

Floyd's not much bigger than Hatton, i actually don't think he's bigger at all, and honestly i don't think it would make a difference at what weight the fight happens i think he beats Hatton by a landslide at anyweight, and i don't even like PBF

I really hope Hatton wins this as well especially since Floyd's already starting the "I'ma ice this mofo" crap when in reality he means: I will use my defensive skills to cruise to a UD without taking any unnecessary chances, or in turn provide any entertainment value to the casual boxing fan. I think Floyd is most def. P4P#1, and I know it's not realistic to face all fighters who are a threat to him in this day in age, but he MUST fight the winner of Cotto/Mosley to prove he is in FACT the best welter in the world regardless of popular opinion.

    CC for the topic.

lets not forget PBF start at 130. so it not like he been 147 and beyond his whole career and is forcing hatton to move up. don't try and make it look like PBF is fighting a much smaller guy.

I agree bro, Floyd beats Hatton at any weight. Hatton called out Floyd & IMO Hatton needs Mayweather more than Pretty Boy needs Ricky. Mayweathers last fight was at Jr Middle so to drop down to 140 would be crazy. It's not like Floyd is making Ricky move to 154... I think WW is a fair weight for the fight to happen!

Mayweather is naturally smaller than Hatton so your excuse is invalid.

No way on earth that PBF is naturally smaller than Hatton, if even he did debut 7 pounds lighter than Hatton did. He is 2 inches taller has something like a 7 inch reach advantage and you only have to look at their frames and the muscle mass to see that OBF is a far bigger guy - not an excuse - just think you're wrong!

PBF inside 7 Hatton stopped on his feet

Mayweather could not stop Hatton he does not have the power and has not stopped an elite fighter at the higher weights. Hatton should have insisted they fight at 140 since he beat the man in Kostya whereas Floyd only beat Gatti so he does have a case for the fight at 140lb. HattonĀ“s chances are slim but he will make Floyd work for the victory.

If Floyd can make the legs of an elite 154 lber with an excellent chin misbehave then Im sure he can do it to Ricky.

Guys honestly, what difference does it make. It is not like Maywether is going to try and overpower Hatton and impose his size. I would not be supprised if Floyd steppet into the ring well bellow 147. I just don't see it making any difference. Floyd is going to fight his fight and beat the piss out of Hatton. And if Hatton does give Floyd trouble its going to be cuz of his style not his size.

I am not a fan of PBF's fights. And I do agree that Hatton is not exactly the biggest challenge out there for him. But these excuses are really staring to get ridiculous. He was old, he wasn't the real champ, he was past it and now its he's too small. The guy is undefeated, in his prime and without a doubt the undisputed 140lb champ. What more do you want. I didn't see anybody giving Aaron Pryor sh*t for beating up Alexis Arguello or Salvador Sanches for beating Wilfredo Gomez.

I have been suprisingly mum about my opinions on this fight, because since its been on everyones wishlist and eagerly anticipated, this matchup has been analyzed, broken down and speculated on more than anymatcup I can remember on my year and 4 months here.

I have broken it down countless times and spoke my peace. The only new wrinkle I see is that Floyd isint fighting to get a title or add a higher weight to his resume so this beating he's handing out isint Business.... Its gonna be pleasure

If $10,000,000 isn't business then I don't know what is.
