I went with Bowe....Joe struggled with big power punchers....Bowed did not hit as hard as Foreman but he was more refined then Mathis....the combination is too much for Frazier

Bowe was too big and had great inside skills plus he had the chin to hang with Frazier Bowe by tko in about 7 i think.

This fight wouldn't happen as Riddick would be to Chicken to get in the ring with Joe.
Joe has power while Bowe's is average. Joe by mid rounds Ko over the overrated Bowe.

I don't get this statement at all i assume you mean about Lewis vs Bowe actually do you know that fight was going to happen if Lewis beat Oliver McCall ?? but Lewis got koed then Lewis was on comeback trail and Bowe was already badly fading by then Bowe is too big and would beat Frazier on inside and if by some chance he couldn't beat him on inside he would definetly beat him on the outside.

Frazier gets off the canvis to win this one in a thriller , >I just think Joe would be to busy for Riddick.

Bowe didn't struggle with Holyfield's workrate plus Frazier's chin was suspect even though his heart was bigger than the Empire State Building.

Yeh I'm well aware of that scenario. Actually Lennox was also signing to fight Tommy Morrison around that period but Tommy got chinned by Michael Bent while Lennox got chinned by McCall.

Bowe through the belts in the trash can and fought faded fighters like Jesse Ferguson and Michael Dokes while avoiding the rightful challenge of Lennox- who had earned the right by destroying Razor Ruddock (who had agreed to step aside and let Bowe challenge Holyfield first)
Lennox beat Ruddock while Bowe beat Holyfield. But Bowe chickened out on the agreement.

Apart from Holyfield I really can't see anything on Bowe's record to suggest that he could beat Frazier.
Hell Tony Tubbs even beat Bowe but was robbed.
Bowe wasn't as big a puncher as Frazier and he certainly wasn't as tough. Joe's busy style would simply outwork Riddick.

Yes i agree but fight would of happened if Lewis would of beat McCall Bowe had few problems with fighters who fought him on outside Frazier wouldn't give him them troubles because Frazier is inside fighter and Bowe is excellent inside fighter who is much too big for Frazier.

It's Smokin' Joe for me here, he would have caught Blubber Bowe with that left hook inside of 5 rounds and why does everyone think Joe had a weak chin when in reality it was only Foreman who blasted him out in two fights.

Knocked down twice from Oscar aswell and we are talking about prime Bowe when Bowe was in his prime he wasn't blubber Bowe he also had amazing chin and was alot bigger than Frazier i can't believe Frazier has made it to the next round to be honest Bowe would of beaten Frazier too big for him.

Frazier beat Ali and Bowe ain't good enough to share a ring with Ali.
Frazier dropped Ali are you saying Bowe couldn't be hurt by Frazier?
Let's not forget that Frazier was a natural Heavy while Holyfield was coming up from Cruiser.
Bowe never did anything to suggest he could last with Smokin Joe.

Yes Bowe could share a ring with Ali why not ?? Ali isn't unbeatable Norton should of won 2 out of 3 fights vs Ali imo Frazier beat Ali but Ali doesn't have Bowe's power nor is Ali good inside fighter Bowe would be hurt by Frazier but Bowe is alot bigger than Frazier and i mean alot bigger just look at the stats.

    Riddick Bowe

    Height 6′ 5″
    Reach 81“
Best Fighting Weight 235 round about there

    Joe Frazier

    Height 5′ 11½″
Reach 28½“ Not sure what that means i think Frazier's reach was about 71
    Best Fighting Weight 205

Bowe is too big and and getting hit by fighters much bigger than you takes alot of steam out of your legs i would be suprised if Frazier could last the distance.

Never been a Bowe fan. Size difference be damned, Smokin' Joe had something important over Bowe..... heart. I'm glad Joe made it to the next round instead of Bowe.

It appears this match up has caused the most divided opinion, the Stats you put up do not look good for Joe i will have to admit. How does Foreman compare in size to Bowe? I might have to change my thoughts on this.
