He wants Hatton and will probably get him, who else should he fight if he does make 147?

I would say a rematch with someone who beat him. Hopkins is out of the question and Trinidad is unclear whether he is coming back or not and if he is it will not be lower than 160.

    That leaves Mosley or Maywether.

It would be good to see oscar and hatton...personally i think Oscar would drop Hatton.....but does he really need to bother fighting i mean... could he damage the fine legacy he has by losing one or two fights?

Oscar wants Ricky, and IMO, that fight is a lock. I read that the only thing stopping a rematch with Mayweather is that Oscar wants a smaller ring.

If he's defintely fighting twice you can guarantee one the fight's will be against someone he knows he can beat.

A rematch with Mayweather even in a small ring, I think it’s going to be a repeat of what happened. Mayweather does to want to make this into a slugfest and right now De La Hoya wants a slugfest. I mean not a lot of people I know were pleased with the De La Hoya- Mayweather match. So I think that would not be such a big draw.

Now if Cotto can possibly beat Mosley, that would be a great match up for De La Hoya to fight Cotto. It would be a big payday for Cotto, and if he wins, he can have a win against a legend in boxing. I mean De La Hoya is not been the best looking losing 3 of his last 5 fights but I mean he still is a big draw. The Fans still want to see him!

Oh this one might be a good question, I’m Mexican so you know I got Mexican family (duh), and friends are still not pleased about De La Hoya cuss he defeated Julio Cesar Chavez. Now imagine if Julio Cesar Chavez Jr can get a good name by this year, his opponent for his next bout should be Alfonso Gomez or Paul Maggnialo(Sorry forgot his last name) With a win over one of them should get him way more up in the ranks and finally get to prove that he is not just a name. I mean Julio Cesar Chavez Jr vs. Oscar De La Hoya sounds way to quick cuss Chavez Jr. would be going into the dragons mouth facing De La Hoya but I mean if that match can be made I can certainly tell you it will be a draw go Mexican fans. Now though, it would be to fast match for Chavez as he is still proving himself with each and every fight, but since this is supposedly De La Hoya’s last year. Maybe Chavez will step up to the plate.

Apparently, after beating Gatti (if it'd gone as planned), Chavez would hope to fight DLH if he was still around. Further great planning by Arum. However, while I actually think the fight would make money, Chavez will be far too green and Oscar would KO him.

I'd like to think Ricky could beat him. If it's in the UK as both would prefer, I don't think Hatton would let himself lose.
