Does this happen much. I know that I did it once with one of my fighters early on his career. But this is one time in maybe over a hundread fights. What I wanna know is if there is a way to do it more often? If so, how?

I think this usually happens when the other player has drained all of his energy by throwing too many punches and then you catch him when his stamina is empty. I've see this happen a lot when I use Frazier. Do you play online? Wanna fight?

where online can you play

I'm in the U.S. and I just hook the PS2 up to the cable modem and in game modes go to play online. From there just set up a free account with EA Sports. It's kind of strange because the most I've ever seen online was probably about 50 people at once. When opposed to Madden there are thousands.

Let me know when you get hooked up. I'm not that good though.

I have done this one time. I was Using Joe Frazier and I was fighting Ali. My health was down a little bit and Ali's was full. Then we both threw a punch at the same time but he threw a hook and I threw an uppercut and my uppercut landed before his hook did and it dropped him like a bag of rocks. I have done this hundreds of times on Fight Night Round 2 but only one time on Fight Night Round 3.

never ever had a one punch ko in any of the fight night games. you've got a chance of 0.001% of getting one.

but i remember playing one of the old knockout kings games all day and taking my created boxer to the championship fight. which was against sonny liston, i walked up to him and knocked him out clean with the first punch! i was pretty shocked to say the least.

It's nothing like the regular FN-Flash-KO It happens to me a lot in 4-5 round fights when I'm swarming my opponent. I was thinking that just like when you both throw a punch at the same time and you time them right it does a lot more damage. Perhaps that's where the 1 punch ko comes out of, from then on it's just a roll of the dice.
