Good result for John, I'd like to see him move up to super featherweight
Yeh would love a Chris John - JMM rematch at the MGM or Mandalay Bay.
He's dominated featherweight and now's time to move up with JMM, Pac, MAB, Arthur etc
the fighther he was against wasnt the best. He needs to go up a weight class and be pushing the best. He is capable of it but needs to get out of indonisa and get his ass to america to fight some real fighters. its a shame to be honest if he doesnt.
love to see him fight against Jorge Linares--like the way he fight
John is a real talent, I hope he has some fights in the US cause a lot of people havent seen him. Even though I thought he lost, he was immpressive in the JMM fight and it was very close and not a blatant robbery imo. John sneeks in a lot of fast counters that if you blink you miss. Id like to see him step up the competition a bit though cause since Marquez he hasnt done much.
Psalm 144: Blessed be the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle
CJ is for real. Him beating JMM wasn't a fluke.
The decision was a gift in USA JMM would of won that decision no question.Originally Posted by Pacstraightleft

I thought JMM beat John faily comfortably but John seems to be impressing. It's difficult to gauge just how good he is though due to his level of opposition. He needs to fight bigger names, prove himself on a larger stage before I'm fully sold on him.
He needs to travel the fight vs JMM was hometown decision lets see if John has the bottle to go to the USA and fight JMM.Originally Posted by El Gamo
I thought he lost to JMM but I've seen worse decisions and he actually fought pretty well.
John-Linares makes sense, its the fight at 126.
I've never seen John fight, but it should be noted that his win today actually came against a Japanese opponent in Japan. So he is not exactly flat out refusing to travel.Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING

Is he exciting to watch anyone?
I agree. He should look for more credible opposition to prove himself.Originally Posted by El Gamo
