No way was the fight a draw (how was you scoring it? on the loudness of the boos as Floyd ran from Castillo?) and in no way does Floyd winning the second fight mean anything for the first fight which is what the thread is about.
If you're so adamant that it wasn't a draw, then I hope you can list at least 7 rounds that couldn't possibly be given to Mayweather.
And I'll save you the time..... you won't be able to do it. You'll come up with 7 rounds that you thought Castillo won, not 7 rounds that Castillo absolutely won.

It was a close competitive fight with several close rounds. I could see it 7-5 Castillo, I could see someone having it 7-5 Floyd. I could also see it a draw. If you're saying that there's no reasonable scoring other than a Castillo victory, than obviously you didn't pay much attention when you were watching the fight.

This is probably one of the reasons why there is some doubts on Mayweather being number one. He can't always convince everybody that he has won the fight. Pacquaio, on the other hand, had won his fights convincingly against Morales, MAB, Solis,Ledwaba, etc. Mayweather is very skilled but not very convincing. I love to watch his fights though.
The reason that's a ludicrous statement is the fact that Pacquaio has flat out lost before, more than once. At worst, even if Floyd would have lost the decision in this fight, how would that place Manny above him, considering he also has lost? Not to mention there was no rematch clause in that fight and Floyd immediately gave Castillo a rematch and beat him undisputedly.
Yeah but I would watch a Paquiao fight any day before MaywZZZZzzzzz.

Mayweather is fighting way higher than his best weight class because that's something that you can do when you're the best. Watch any of Floyd's fights from 140 and down and you will see knockout power combined with superior ability.

Floyd at 147 or 154 would be like Pac at lightweight or junior welterweight. Pac's problem is that he isn't good enough to win at those weights because he would lose a lot of power while moving up and Pac without any power would be a garbage Pac. Mayweathers good enough that he can keep going up in weight and compensate for his loss of power by outboxing opponents. Pac can't, so he stays where he's at.

Bro Pac is just an example there are many fighters that are exiting ie. Rafa Marquez, Pac, Morales, Cotto, Vazquez ect. my deal is Boxing is entertainment and if you are going to fight and run and then claim your the best? We have lost the sence of what is Boxing. With the loss of Erick boxing will suffer momentarely untill another exiting fighter comes along. Why do you think MMA is becoming more popular than Boxing?

Like I said, Mayweather from 140 and down was far from boring. Mayweather today is fighting outside of his natural weight class by a ways so he can't really go in there and knock people out like used to. Some people like to see technical fighters (what the casual fan might refer to as running) and some prefer knockouts.

As far as mma becoming more popular than boxing....................

You could put any two mma fighters in history together in a ppv and it wouldn't do half the numbers of what Mayweather vs. Delahoya did.

mma has a long ways to go before it even starts to get close to boxing.

Dude, I didn't wan't to get into this but you really need to do some fact checking before you post this stuff.

Paquiao started at 107. He has won titles at Flyweight, SuperBantam, Featherweight and is currently considered the best superfeatherweight. He has gone up in weight just as many times as Floyd has. And yes, he is still knocking people the f*ck out.
