Well guys, we have the championship bout between Paul Williams and Floyd Mayweather. Both fighters had really close fights with Mayweather defeating Cotto by a close decision with 61.5 % of your votes. Williams also had a close one by defeating Mosley with 58.8% of your votes. This is it now, we are voting for who would win a tournament if the welterweights were to have one. Mayweather has defeated Cintron and Cotto to get here while Williams has defeated Margarito, Hatton and Mosley to get here. Who wins this battle? LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!

I believe Floyd is a much better fighter and has more skills than Williams. I laso belive that Williams physical advantages combined with his unaturally high pounch output is enough to overcome Maywether's superior skills.

Floyds best weapon to me is just how smart he is in the ring, floyd's seen 'em come in all shapes and sizes and it's never really seemed to matter, williams in one fight as managed to go from decent contender to some all time great in some eyes, to each his own but i don't see it that way nor do i see him prepared to fight mayweather. But due to his physical attributes i give just as good as chance as some of the others mentioned as potential floyd killers these days.

to be honest williams isnt as good a fighter as forrest was when he was welter champ.

I wondered if the combination of Williams speed and reach would keep Mayweather at bay. However, Mayweather's ring awareness is amazing, I think he'd find a way to make Williams miss, and outbox him to a decision.
