Here are the guys last 6 opponents:
    Boom-Boom
    Penalosa
    Seeger
    Sod
    Gerson
    Sod

All but Seeger and Gerson where top 8 in the WBO.
183 wins 13 losses 2 draws with 109 wins by KO.

I think it's pretty clear this fight here is more of a showcase fight after the big win. PDL lives out here in So. Cal. and this is more like a given/gimmie fight for him. Cut the guy some slack just a little bit this time around, his next fight will mostlikely be against a top contender.

Yes, you can't blame the guy for taking an easy fight especially after he hardly broke sweat last time out. This is just a keep-busy fight for him. I really like watching PDL, he's a real TV fighter. He's going to give some great entertainment over the next couple of years and keeping active like this and another nice payday is no bad thing for him. He can't fight a top guy every time out.

What im really questioning is that now he has really established himself as a champion is he going to become much more selective with his opponents? I could be wrong, but come on Reynaldo Lopez? U no i dont like belittling any fighter but can u honestly tell me he deserves a shot, can u honestly tell me he's going to be competitive with De Leon?

    Selective?
Come on if he is he will show his true colors. But I'm willing to bet you that he doesn't. We can make a little signature bet or something if your up for it. I've talked to him on 2 occasions and hes determined to fight everyone and anyone. I believe him, a rematch with Caballero IMO is the closest fght for him.

Think one round blow out here. Very fast and very decisive. You may not want to drive all the way for a 32 second fight.

I just love being ringside at fights the best atmosphere possible.
Plus I'm always looking forward to the turn out of boxers that come to the events.

I knew daniel wanted to fight again this year but this soon? I was thinking maybe november rematch with caballero or penalosa, but this soon and just against an unknown. Its dissapointing really, right when I was becoming a fan of him....

but if he knocks this guy out quick and impressive all will be forgiven

Should he not try and rematch Callerbero? or however you spell his name? Dual title fight and a chance to gain revenge.
