By the year 1996 Campas had already shared the ring with greats. He sported an impressive reccord of 64-2 (56KOs). His only losses were to Trinidad and Lopez, having dropped Trinidad in their meeting. Thought to be the next Chavez by some of his more enthusiastic Mexican Supporters. He is an aggressive come forward power puncher.

Cotto carries with him a record of 30-0 (25KOs). He is the current WBA champion and has defended his title twice in very convincing fashion. Some say the best is yet to come from this young champion. His body punching combined with incredible force of will and pressure leaves most of his opponents unrecognizable at the end of his fights.

Campas was a very good fighter but I like Cotto to wear him down. Cotto by late KO.

This is actually a pretty tough one. I think Cotto is better but I also believe Campas would test that chin more than it has ever been tested before.

Most of Campas's knockouts and wins were against bums and journeyman his first 50+ fights were anyway plus i never considered Campas elite he was always a bit below the elite Cotto would be wobbled and maybe knocked down but he would stop Campas in about 8.
