Default 90s vs 2000s WW Quarterfinals Felix Trinidad vs Ricky Hatton

Hatton had a tough time getting by rugged power puncher Jose Luis Lopez. Now he faces his toughest test yet as he steps into the ring with one of the best in the 90s, Felix Trinidad. "I want to say thanks to all my fans that make this all possible. I going to take the fight to him and test that body. I'll make him go backwards, he can't fight that way." Hatton said in a very confident manner.

Trinidad had a surprisingly easy night against a tough Mexican fighter in Margarito on rout to a UD as he battered him all the way to the end. Margarito showed great hart but just could not stop him. Now Tito is up against the undefeated fighter from Manchester. Can Trinidad protect his undefeated record as a welterweight? "YO VOY A GANAR!! YO SOY EL MEJOR!!" Replied the always energized Tito.

Hey, what can I say, look at the first thread I opened up. 90s vs 2000s welterweight. I was not even gonna put him but most insisted that I did over Mayorga.

OK now that I looked at the thread, only two people said Hatton but nobody objected so I added him.

Tito would have too much of an advantage over him in terms of power. Hatton wouldnt last very long.

Hatton gets blown out by round 5.... Not even his optimum weight to fight, Tito was a phenom and murderous puncher at 147

Not a fan of either but Trinidad would have blown Hatton out of the water with his power. This match would never have happened as has already been mentioned..size difference is too great.

I voted Hatton. Assuming the fight was at 140.

Hatton by way of Tito dying from exhaustion

I rest my case on what I said in the other thread VD. Not many people know him. I did mention in the first round intro that he put Quartey down twice in their draw and that he destroyed Campas. He was a real good fighter just din't get enough love here I guess.

Trinidad is way too big and strong for Hatton. KO win for Tito.
