I read an interview over on Boxingtalk and Bob Arum said they are trying to make that fight on that date I believe. I don't think its a official yet though.

I'd rather see Cintron-Williams, but that's be a good scrap. Hopefully, we'd see Williams against the winner early next year in a unification bout (I'm doubting, though, that Arum would let Margarito go anywhere near Williams again after ruining the Cotto fight he had set up).

I would still favor Margarito in the rematch. I have never been a fan of Margarito but after watching his fights and disregarding his "most feared man on the planet" like comments I have to say he is a good fighter with a great chin. I don't see how this fight would be any different than the last one.

Cintron should stay away from this one. Styles make fights, and margarito has Cintrons number. But if he does take this fight, you have to give it to him. He has balls.

If Citron has picked up his game a notch and is going in without injury... I dont see why he shouldnt have another run at it

He's back in the title mix and isn't wasting anytime. Good luck to him.

Fair play to Cintron. I posted just the other day on a similar subject that he should rematch Margarito. Any fighter surely wants to avenge any loss they have.

don't see why Margarito shouldn't fight either Cintron or Williams again, IMO Cintron would probably give him a tougher rematch than Williams

I think a rematch between Margarito-Williams would go pretty much the same (I had Williams winning fairly soundly at 8-4), plus I don't see that there is much upside for Williams to take a rematch at this point. If Margarito beat Cintron, though, that would give Margarito the IBF belt and Williams would have something to gain in a unification match.

I think Cintron-Margarito is a good scrap, I just would personally rather see Cintron-Williams. I think Williams is going to be tough for anyone at 147 with his work rate and iron chin and would pick him to win a UD, but Cintron has a lot of power and if a guy lands a hard shot on the right spot it doesn't make much difference what kind of beard you have. I think it would be an excellent fight with the winner set up well for a big match in '08.

If I were Cintron, I would have fought boxers such as Zab Judah, Quintana, etc. in order to get more rounds in under Emmanuel Steward before a scrap with Margarito or other top tier guys. As is, Cintron is looking for redemption and perhaps money, so he will probably take the fight. I believe Cintron is a different fighter than during the first fight and a better fighter under Steward. This will be a fight of the year candidate and Margarito will not have as easy a time as the first time.

Cintron would fair a lot better, but Id still pick Margarito to beat him, maybe decision this time. I think Cintron would look good to start but Margarito would start to dismantle him as the fight goes on and pick him apart in the latter rounds.

I personally don't see how Margaritos earned a shot at the title, then again as I type this I just realized it's the IBF. Those fuckers pass that belt around like WackOff3205 was passed around last year at the companys Christmas Party.

Then again I can see this more as Cintron redemption/Margaritos shot at gettin back in the mix fight rather then it being for the damn! belt.
