i think this was all false.
the medical reason was just a better reason then
having to compete with UFC's PPV

i mean think of it

Vargas vs Mayorga..non title match
or
Jackson vs Henderson. Champion vs. Champion

no1 is going to pay for both of them, too much money

its just a way to get more money so they dont have to compete with UFC and lose money

Possible...but i doubt it.

Anything is possible but I'm not surprised that fight was postponed. I thought Vargas might have a back injury flair up during training to postpone it.

Highly doubt it, especially since I don't think the average boxing fan would have any idea who Dan Henderson is. I know I don't, although I do know who Quinton "Rampage" Jackson is. I don't think the UFC and boxing is competing on that level. I that if both of the PPV's were on the same night than the boxing fan would pick the boxing PPV and the UFC fan would pick the UFC PPV. I have yet to find someone who likes UFC just as much as boxing, normally the person has a leaning one way or another. And for the people in the middle, I doubt they are shelling out 40-50 bucks to watch PPV's because it takes a strong desire to give out that kind of money.

I don't think the reason to postpone vargas mayorga is because of a free u.f.c event. it doesn't make any sense,theres no money to lose or gain. they do there own thing I doubt either side gives a damn about the other.

I'm with ya there, i don't see why these comparisons even come up...they would never cancel a hocky game because an nba playoff game is scheduled the same night (don't even know if that would happen but you get the point) or any ufc bout because of football etc...they are two different sports with thier own goals, those who were gonna buy the vargas fight still will the one's who weren't still won't.

lol nhl and nba are totally different.....

i dont think so.. boxing fans will watch and order that fight. It has nothing to do with Ufc this saturday.
