I know Tackie is on the downslide of his tough carrer but he has fought anyone and everyone giving all the elite fighters a real opponent. I think if Tackie trains hard for this one his experience agaist guys like Tszyu, Hatton, Mitchell, etc. will help him prevail. Tackie can be outboxed but I dont think of Gomez as muh of a boxer and if he outhustle Tackie I think he has another thing coming. Im gonna go with Tackie by close UD in a pretty good fight. I think the only sure bet is that this one goes the distance.

Should be exciting fight this is good stepping stone for Gomez Tackie is tough as hell going 12 rounds with Hatton and Tszyu this will be tough fight for Gomez.

I dont think Tackies ever been knocked down and I dont think Gomez has the firepower to even phase Tackie. I think this fight is gonna be good one, especially for Tackie who could use a good win like this.

Yeh will be a difficult fight for Gomez he will have to have a good gameplan to get the win. A good test for him.

Tackie has a head made of granite! Gomez will win a decision though.

He did beat Teddy Reid, Ray Olivera, and Golden Johnson. At this point I honestly cant rate Gomez above any of those guys cause he hasnt really beaten anyone himself and I dont think the Gatti win raised his stock much, at least not to me.

Yea good call. Tackie has lost to all the elite fighters he's faced, but he's given them all a fight and held his own, plus he's beaten some solid contenders who were at least on Gomez current level in their own right. Now he's almost certainly not what he was years back but I can't say I've seen him fight at all recently. Should be a good fight to show where Gomez is at, assuming Tackie is up for it.
