    Default Linares/Valero twinbill!

This is still not 100% confirmed but apparently both(2 of my faves ) are going to be fighting on the same card. Proposed date is Novermber the 12th and opponents are:

For Linares it's: Gamaliel "Platano" Diaz (22-6-2, 9 KOs)

For Valero its: Fernando "Pillo" Trejo (29-12-4, 18 KOs)

Nice bouts to finish off the year plus 2008 will likely to be very big for both of these guys so I cannot wait!! Good to see them staying active rather than take the year off.

The rumor is that the event might take place in Cancun, Mexico.
Since Valero can fight in that country.

He did pretty well against Mosquera (not an elite mind you, but still a great competitor)
I'd give him a chance against Humberto Soto and PAC (queue the PAC parade to attack this post)
I think JMM would give him a lesson. That's the thing with fighting Valero, he has gotta
be one of the hardest p4p punchers in all of boxing, and that in itself gives him a chance
    against anyone.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I think jmm will give him a boxing lesson, but I'm not sold on valero's power. who has he knock out that any of the elites can't k.o? I think his power is overrated, guys he has k.o'ed would get done worst by jmm pac eric mab even juarez.

They can't fight each other, not yet because they are in different weight classes and they are promoted by the same Jap promoter. Call me one of their biggest fans since I made the call on them al those moons ago!!

Good call Killer,Mosquera was a dangerous, heavy handed competetior and Valero went to his volatile backyward and beat him, showing heart and power in the fight. As much as I love Soto, you are 100% correct, someone with Valero's power is ALWAYS in the fight because he hits so dam hard. And again, totally correct,a counter puncher like Marquez would assault Valero, would take advantage of his technical faults and would win. Good posting Killer,CC.

Yeah Linares is at 126lbs, Valero at 130lbs, maybe the fight is not the next one but the one after that, Linares has all the time in the world but if he's in a hurry he can be like Erik Morales and be taking on the big boys right off the bat.
