    Default Donaire-Arce

Jorge Arce will be fighting Nonito Donaire, the right handed version of Christian Mijares. Only this time Arce will get KTFO.

God I hope this fight happens!

I agree Arce will most likely get stopped if this happens.. But, you have to give him mad respect for taking on Donaire... Arce is a warrior, and will always be exciting to watch... Especially when he shows as much spirit in taking on big fights as if does when he's in the ring. I think he'll definetly push Donaire harder than Vic did, but ultimately Nonito is just a better schooled fighter. Still, this will be a great fight, here's hoping Arce acceps and there's nothing else to it.

Totally agree with everything you said about Arce except the outcome. I don't think this fight is coming off but if it does,it'll be a close fight. Why? The thing about Mijares that gave Arce a problem, was the southpaw stance and does not apply here. Sure,Donaire is well schooled and a good fighter but I give Arce a chance here. He's certainly nowhere near as technically deficient as that also-ran Darchinyan.

And there's no way Arce is getting KTFO.

He'll do better than Vic, at least he's not sloppy, annoying, totally lacking in skill, I could go on really.

It seems since Donaire stopped the one-dimensional Darchinyan that he's now unstoppable. Gimmie a fucking break. Donaire has a knock out percentage of 57%, yet he's suppose to knock out Arce? A fighter who hasn't been stopped in 9 years. A fighter who's looks much bigger than him. I give Donaire credit for beating Darchinyan (I predicted it). But other than that win, he's beaten nobody worth mentioning. Now he suppose to walk through Arce? If anything I think this is bad match up for Donaire. I don't think he can handle Arce's body attack. I see Arce stopping him mid-round.

I don't know about no way.... Sure Arce is tough but he's not unphasable.. I thought Mijares rocked him good several times, and he doesn't crack as hard as Donaire imo.. You probably have seen more of all these guys than I have though so I won't definetively say so.. To me though, Arce just isn't a smart fighter and he's easily lulled into counter's and set up for big shots.. Even in his fight before Mijares agaisnt that Julio Ler guy, he would often barge straight forward too squared up and get countered off the ropes.. If Ler hadn't been such a negative nancy and had a higher output, more power, etc. he could have given Arce a lot more problems than he already did. Nonito has all those things from what I saw.. I guess it's never too late for Arce to make some adjustements, if he jabbed his way in and wasn't so gung ho and squared up in his attack he'd definetly be harder to beat. Either way, KO or not, Id favour Donaire considerably.

Arce really hasn't beaten anyone worth mentioning outside of Hussein either... I just think he's going to have big problems when up against a fighter with good technical skills who can counterpunch. Maybe your right though, Vic didn't exactly push Nonito and test his toughness.. If Arce is more succesful applying pressure he could break him down.

If Ler had let rip,he would have been caught more. Mijares rocked Arce a few times, but Arce weathered the storm. Most of your other points have been answered here:

CC VD,fine posting and totally agree. Donaire is a goodfighter but he is certainly getting over rated for beating a guy(Darchinyan) whom was not highly rated at all(by those who know their boxing).

I got Donaire winning by KO mainly because Arce is a face first brawler. A big right hand from Nonito will do the job.

Foolish post. Donaire ain't no body puncher. And you know it. Arce has the better body attack. If anybody is going down from a body shot it's Donaire.

If you find my post foolish, then yours gotta be worst. Donaire can be a good body puncher if he chooses to. So much for better body attack for Arce when couldn't even floor Ler. Arce threw a lot of body punches, but obviously none of 'em penetrated Ler's liver.
