Default Q and A with Joel Casamayor!Good read

    http://www.fightnews.com/miranda07.htm

Yo I used to have alot of resepct for Freddy Roach but recently he has started to open his mouth to much. Likening Manny to SRR(ass!) and now opening his mouth about Joel. How the hell can Roach and Manny talk about going to 135 and mention David Diaz and NOT Joel?! WTF?!

I would like Golden Boy to sign me a contract to get a big fight with Manny Pacquiao. That is the only guy I would have in mind after I am done with Santa-Cruz. Then I have The Roach...

    Freddie Roach?

Yes, the Roach. He started to talk a lot of trash on me. He said I am washed up. Come over and prove it. He is lucky I don't have a time machine and go back 70 years and dispose of him too. I guess he forgot about what a mediocre fighter he was. I want Manny Pacquiao to step up to the plate and show the world who the real lightweight champion of the world is.

Here's another case of a fighter calling out a fighter who is in a lower weight class. It's a safer fight for Casamayor. Manny has to get used to 135 if he does fight at that weight, then the possibility of Casamayor vs Pacquiao can suffice.

If Manny goes ahead and fights any of the Diaz' (I think he can beat David Diaz though) or Casamayor his first go around, that would be a mistake! He needs one tune up fight with a lesser known lightweight and see how he takes the punches.

Either way, there's way too much unfinished business for Manny in the 130lb division. Casamayor needs to worry about the fighters currently in his division first.

I agree Manny has unfinished business at 130 but 2 things:

a.) he and Roach mentioned him movinh up

b.) Roach has been bad mouthing Joel

c.) Neither David Diaz, nor Juan Diaz took up Joel's offer to fight him. And before anyone says anything,I HIGHLY dount a man who faced PRIME Corrales,Freitas and Castillo would avoid any of the Diiazs as some of them have mentioned

Nice read... It'll be interesting to see how much Joel has left in the tank. I for one am excited to see him fighting and hope he gets a couple big fights next year.

Pac turned down a fight with Casamayor in the past. I see him doing the same now. Which is the smart thing to do. I can't see Pac beating Casamayor. And neither can Roach or Pac himself. Which is why they refuse the fight.

you got any proft pac turning down a fight with casa? come on now, your talking with your hater heart again. how could pac even turn down a fight with casa if its only been now that his seriously thinking of moving up, but the one that really stands out in pacs desire is to fight jmm becuase thats unfinish business there nevermind the other hopeless in 130 not very eager to have a piece of pacman. I like casa for wanting to fight pac, but we all know pacman never turns down a fight. his a rare fighter that loves the big names, his done it in his entire career. I wouldn't be suprise if pac does move up he goes directly to casa, his done it in 126 straight to the division king mabman, then 130 division king el terrible now 135 he prolly would love casa.

I agree casa is the toughest in the division and a few years ago i think casa would beat pac because of the size difference, but pac now is carrying all his speed and getting bigger and better. I'm more leaning towards pacman via u.d beat down of casa then casa doing much to pacman.

people talk about how pac is just a brawler but didn't he just beat mabman in mabs own style of keeping it technical then a war. casa is a great fighter but his also inconsistant at times and he better be at his best and not skip a beep if he fights pacman at his age now.

You show your lack of knowledge when you speak on things you know nothing about. This is not the first time Pac considered moving up to Lightweight. He considered it after the second fight with Morales. At which time Casamayor called him out. Roach turned the fight down saying Pac wasn't going to move up after all. If you were a true Pac fan, you would of known about this. Guess your not a real Pac fan after all.

Boxingtalk. Go through their archives. There and Boxing Scene. Manny wanted to move up,Joel called them out,and Roach changed his mind and said Manny would not be moving up. I say this and I seldom ever agree with VD but he's right in this instance.

Casamayor has been calling out Pacquiao for years. In fact he has offered several times to drop down in weight to 126 for the fight to happen. Casamayor has a genuine dislike of Pacquiao for one reason or another. IMO there is more to the story then on the surface

the only thing I know for certain is yea your right casa has a personal dislike for pac, but that part about him going down in 126 is false. I remember how casa has always been a hater of other fighters being successfull, like his rival chico and castillo. he once kept bad mouthing them and even freitas, casa has a bad side but he is trouble for anyone. the worst part about him is his inconsistant, he has lost one to many fight he should of won but instead got his ass kicked.

OK Your right he never publicly stated he would drop to 126 if pac was willing to sign .....How many of his press conferences have you been to again?....Hoe many interviews have you done with him?

and you are truly starting to show your ingnorance by saying Cassamayor got his ass kicked...he has lost but never truly taken a beating in the ring so stop acting like a fool....And truth is he has some reason to be bitter about guys like Corrales and Castillio it is nothing personal against them it is more to do with the sport.....but of course you know all that
