i can't see how winky would beat pavlik. he ain't backing pavlik up like he did taylor. he won't be able to box pavlik for 12 rounds because of his legs. knocking out pavlik is not happening.his defense wouldn't matter. he will take alot of punishment to arms, head and body. pavlik has the better reach, too big, too strong and too much pressure. pavlik by ko/tko later rounds

Pavlik. Too big,too strong,good body attack,superb jab. I don't see anyway in which Wright could win.

Pavlik has one win over a guy who has honestly lost 2 out of his last five. The guy had a SD with a junior middlewieght. Couldn't knock Ouma out.......he has the style to give JT fits, all of a sudden "I don't see anyway that Winky could beat him?!?!" Give me a fucking break.
Winky is a god damned icon, created a super resume---boxed on the road throughout his early career. The guy never has home advantage and always comes through. All of a sudden a guy has a good showing against a guy that couldn't beat Arthur with a broken jaw (Miranda) who couldn't box in the first place and what?? He is the savoir of the MW division. PLEASE

If you want to say that Pavlik would beat Winky, that is all good and fair but act like Pavlik is Toney at middlewieght is too much.

I hope that verbal tirade wasn't aimed at me! JT may very well have an SD with Spinks etc but he drew with Winky and the fight could have gone either way. Winky was shaken on a few occasions by JT,I don't think he could take Kelly's power. Why don't you actually give a reason why you think Winky would do well?


And when has Winky been robbed? The Vargas fight was close(he lost that imo),JT fight was close,could have gone either way.

Yeah I got a little hyped up there. But I Don't think anyone gives Winky due credit. To just write him off at this point is silly. As Roy Jones said in the Tito fight, "He's been doing this for years."

Man all of Winkys biggest wins are against guys were he had the size advantage and he has not down that much in the higher weights

Winkey is the man at LM and that is all he has not been that great in his last showing and he does not do as well in higher weight

And if he faces a man of Kelly size and power and heart and youth he is probably going to lose sorry to say

And i think my perdiction is a late Ko win for Pavlik and it would be in rounds 11 or 12 but i could be wrong

My prediction is Pavlik by TKO/KO between 4th and 6th round.
Kelly is too big and strong and keeps coming at you.

I think it would be a tough fight for both guys. More so maybe for Wright because of Pavlik's power. But Wright is the better fighter IMO & with his defensive skills & experience I feel Wright would be able to give Kelly enough trouble while still being able to score himself to win a close decision.
