Default What is Hattons greatest asset

If you experience difficulty in answering.......you're not alone. Beyond relentless pressure, there is no significance. Beyond the Kotzya Tszyu (well past his prime) bout there is no relevance. Fellow boxing fans.....What is Hattons greatest asset?

I suppose you could say his will to win/ability to impose his will, is his greatest asset. He backs it up with strength, good foot speed, and tenacity. I'd like to see get back to using a jab on the way in.

    seriously....

    his footwork is brilliant

his will to win is phenominal

his ability to adjust and find a way to win is also pretty special.

    Hug and hold.
Pressure, footwork, wild style. He chased a guy down who turned his back to Hatton during a fight and Hatton Pearl Harbored his ass. I thought it was WWF. Good body attack. Hatton's blinding white skin might cause Mayweather Jr. some problems. lol

Lol, Floyd may need to use some of that grease that quarterbacks use under their eyes to keep the glare off. Seriously, Hatton has good footwork, but not as good as Floyds; Hatton has relentless pressure, but Floyd's seen that. Ricky has a killer left hook to the body, which Floyd can't take many of, but Floyd has so much more in his arsenal than Hatton it's almost criminal. Floyd will abuse Hatton with uppercuts and straight right hands all night; well at least until the 8th round if Ricky is still standing. This will be a slaughter imo, as much as I hate to admit it.

It's just my opinion bro', who knows, Hatton may whoop up on Floyd. I agree about old man Gatti, but Floyd is a bad dude. I'm pulling for Rick though and will be more than happy to be proven wrong

His ability to block punches with his face.

Everything Hatton does Mayweather has seen and/or does better. Footwork, speed, defense, strategy, the ability to adjust, the ability to break fighters down with a body attack- all favor PBF. Hatton MIGHT be stronger, but that's in question considering Floyd is content to give one at a time to keep from taking one. But he is the naturally bigger fighter and it stands to reason that if an opponent leaves himself wide open he may actually be able to hit him harder.

And many people consider it a slaughter in favor of Floyd because there is such a disparity in their pedigrees.

His greatest asset is his miraculous ability to be in two places at once.

The predestrian that Amir Khan ran over was called ....... Mr Hatton.

He has good coordination. He isn't the fastest or strongest, or the hardest hitter, but he moves as one unit, and there are only a handful of guys like that out there right now who do it. This allows him to have good footwork, accuracy, and great balance which is important coming in.

I have to say I don't see this being a slaughter either and give Ricky a chance.

As for Hatton how about his workrate and strength?

I do think however that Floyds strength may be underated.
