You can place three votes each if you like.
I'd like to see him fight Pavlik then the winner of the Jones Trinidad fight.

Well i think the only fight a supermiddle is Froch , would be nice if he shut Frochs mouth.
If JT moves up to sm then thats an option but to be honest Calzaghe dominates JT.
All i know is he has to move fast at age 35
Remember reality is an illusion caused by a lack of alcohol .
If I had to put money on one guy I'd bet Taylor. I think that a. Hopkins will bottle it again and b. HBO would rather Calzaghe fights the Taylor-Pavlik winner. I think Taylor has been drained at 160 for some time now and will beat Pavlik at the higher weight then fight Calzaghe.

Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!
I kind of agree. Taylor showed too much early promise for him to look so bad in the last few fights he had*. Maybe the extra 8 pounds will help. However, if he beats Pavlik in a return there has to be a 3rd fight, thus keeping him busy for most of 2008 - by which time Joe will be almost as old as meOriginally Posted by Kirkland Laing
* I KNOW there are examples.

If Pavlik loses to Taylor at 168 he'll head back to 160 and stay there. If he wins at 168 there'd be no market for a third fight.Originally Posted by taansend
Frank Warren has already called Hopkins out at the post-fight presser, offering him choice of weight/date/location, saying Joe will even go to Philadelphia to fight him. Hopkins will almost certainly duck Joe though, unless he only wants one more fight or gets offered huge money.
Well at super middleweight theres mundine and bute maybe. Lightheavy he could fight Woods, Danny Green, Tarver, Hopkins, Paul Briggs, Adamek, Roy Jones. Lots of good fights for him at light heavy, a couple at super middleweight. I wouldnt mind seeing him fight mundine, speed vs speed would be interesting.
Snakey, my old mate.Originally Posted by Snakey
If Bute and Mundine fight each other and then the winner makes 5 defences they may deserves a chance to fight Calzaghe. He's now on a different level to those chaps. I know that they deserve the chance as much as Froch but Froch happens to live 150 miles up the road.
Briggs and Adamek. No. Sorry. Why should he fight 2nd rate fighters when he's definitely top tier?

WBO LH champ Zsolt Erdei
It was pointed out by a commentator his promoter was ringside with Warren
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Hopkins for me, then pavlik- taylor winner. Then retire. I'd be happy with just the Hopkins fight tbh, they're both rated top 5 p4p, it's the one fight that makes sense. If not B-hop next, then one of the light-heavy belt holders.
I voted in this order:
Hopkins
Woods
and I'd like to add Glen Johsons name to the list.
"Hopkins was old"
That's all you will hear if Joes beats him so I cant see the point really.
There ain't a lot of choice out there really, RJJ is past his best too, maybe a fight with Pavlic I dunno.
after watching it live in the stadium last night (never heard a pop so loud at any of the other sporting events ive been to than the one joe got on his entrance) i would have to say joe hasn't got anything else to prove. i would be happy if he retired now - but i think he should go to the u.s fight hopkins get a huge payday and call it a day.
Theres a lot of talk about him possibly fighting Woods. I think this would be a very difficult fight for Joe, even more so than Hopkins. If I was Calzaghe I would fight Hopkins and retire undefeaded. Messing with the bigger guys will eventually deal him a loss, and sooner than later. Retiring undfeated after gaining the Light Heavyweight title in addition to his domination at Super Middle would be a great way to leave the sport. That wont happen though cause the money is now a bigger factor in his decisions i would think, rightfully so.
Psalm 144: Blessed be the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle
After thinking about it for a few days I've decided he should fight John Ruiz for the WBA Heavyweight title thus becoming only the 2nd Super-Middleweight to win the Premier belt.
Nothing else makes sense, really
