Thread: Last night fight

Just got through watching Calzaghe/Kessler again. Is it just me, or were they both in tremendous shape. That was a high output fight, and they really looked as if they could have easily gone a few more rounds. Calzaghe threw over 1000 punches and was still looking as if he had alot more in him. And Kessler, though he didn't throw as many punches, looked fresh to. Impressive considering all that nervous energy he had to have had coming into, and during, the fight. Pretty impressive conditioning IMO, considering everything.

Without a doubt both men took this fight as serious as they should have and made sure they were in the best possible shape....Too bad more champions and contenders wont use their example and make sure they show up 100% every time....You can only perform like Kess and JC did last night if you are at your peak!!!
