One thing that has always bugged me about tarver is his blatant disregard for reality, "my style is too sophisticated for the judges" ?? Wow. And that he is running from dawson like he owes him back child support. I like dawson but i don't see him as this big feared fighter as of yet so it makes me wonder what really goes on up there in his head sometimes. I'll always give him credit for beating roy though...probably the most i've been shocked watching a fight..

I know I was shocked to the point of pinching myself to see if I was actually awake and not in a feverish nightmare Tarver is done....

I agree with him about the judging, but of course he has to turn it into the judges dont like me.

Tarver can be pretty annoying, always seems to be "shucking & Jiving" it up real cheesy like. His Highlite reel knockout of Jones will be the only bright spot I Thank him for.Hopkins owned him by the 2nd round and I dont see the fire and/or skills in him now to stay at the Lt.heavy top.

I actually like tarver, sure he can be a big mouth but thats what gets him attention. No matter if you love him or hate him, his still the one that ruined roy jones jr. It was his destiny to begin roys fall from the top. They knew eachother since childhood and tarver focus his whole career on going after the king. And he completed a task that appeared impossible til the very moment his destiny fulfilled.

"you got any excuses today roy?" is an all time classic then he knocks out the king, it don't get any better then that. Cause atleast tarver has backed up his big mouth at times.

He (Hopkins) owned Him (Tarver) By the second round. It was indeed a boxing lesson,Must have watched it at least 15 Times Rolling on the ground laughing,Hopkins shut him down.

Cool Dude.I dont even think a shrewd Buisnessman and Fighter Like Hopkins Is Cruel enough to do that to The Tarver Family.
I really think Tarver is at THE crossroads of Career.A Beating like that lingers with a fighter.
He came back from a Busted rib Tko Loss To Eric Harding and In Rematch destoyed Harding Brutally But I do not See that Fire anymore. Not a fan really but Comeback Fight will be explosive and rededicated OR He will stumble Badley and go down hill fast.No In between IMO.
what happened to him Fighting Danny Green?
