...and I wandered what your opinions were I'm a big fan of this fella and would love to see him in with Guzman, but how far do you think he can go and how would he fair against the other current champs such; Valero, Fana, Marquez and Guzman

I don't like his chances to be honest. Arthur is a good guy, and I want him to do well, but he has his limitations and I fear he'll never be able to compete with elite fighters like Guzman, Marquez, Valero & Pac.

Fana would be his best option.

Welcome to your limit Alex , Warren may get him wins in so called WORLD title fights but lets face it if Mike Gomez can KO him he has 0 chance againest the elite fighters.

Unfortunately, this is true. Couldn't have summed it up much better.

    Jesus! Quote from that article:

"I'd love to add the WBC, WBA and IBF title to my collection"

It seems slightly premature to start talking about unifying titles, when all you hold is an interim title... Especially as he would by no means beat Guzman nor Soto.

How longs he held the interim title? if a boxer holds an interim belt for over 4 months he should be declared the champ. cos were getting situations were a champion is defending his world title title mayweather WBC against hatton and only last week mosley lost his WBC interim belt. why do we need interim belts? if the champ cant make a defence against the number one challenger withing a year, strip him, then he can get installed as number one contender.

He always mentions all the top names but look who he's fighting next - Stephen Foster Jr

He's got no chance against the likes of Marquez/Guzman and his mob know it.

Actually, Shane vacated his interim WBC for a shot at Cotto. But Jorge Arce is a perfect example of what your saying. Made 4 interim defences and never once got the chance to fight Pongsaklek.

I completely agree!! I think Fana is his best option. He only fight about twice a year so it may take a little while to tie him down.

Also he has onyl fought once outside of South Africa in the last 9 years and that was when Barrera destroyed him in 2.

In fact I would go as far as to say Arthur would win this one if they ever got it on!
