Default HATTON LOOKS IN GREAT SHAPE

I HOPE MAYWEATHER HAS NOT UNDERESTIMATED HIM.

heres my view on the out come

mayweather will try and stay in the center of the ring, trying to get hattons respect. after 1 or 2 rounds. mayweather starts to work hatton out, slowly picking hatton apart with the left hook to the head and body of hatton. 5th round comes and hatton walks on to a straight right to the body. really hurting him.
thats when mayweather takes over. hatton feels reluctent to throw but knows he has to press. mayweather scores with a number of eye watering straight rights to the head of hatton in the 6th hatton takes a nee. hattons does not come out of his corner in the 8th as they call it off.

    mayweather will target hattons body.

i have watched hatton hurt when he is hit in the body. i know mayweather does not hit as hard as Juan Urango. but the total of body punches he will take from mayweather will be the telling story.

i think Floyd bangs a lot harder than you think, I mean in the DLH fight Oscar looked a little shook after floyd landed a decent shot up the middle

yeah and another thing is hatton thinks mayweather has no power. so when he gets hit it might hurt him even more.

Power or not, taking 1000 shots from Floyd will add up. He'll beat him bad with uppercuts and body shots while on the ropes.

    artest FYI

Hatton will not under estimate mayweather power

Hatton was hurt to the body by Urango but bare in mind he was ill anyway and Urango is very very heavy handed.

And no way in hell Hatton quits on his stool.

A straight right to the body might have been enough to see off an over the hill Sharmba Mitchell but it won't be enough to do anything to Ricky Hatton.

What you have to remember is...for floyd to hurt hatton with body shots he's going to have to be in close to plant his feet to generate the power. And when both fighters are staying in close and planting their feet it quickly becomes hatton's kind of fight.

Whatever rick has been saying, some of it is a bit of sportsmanship, he knows Floyd has good if not great power and he will not underestimate that, there is no way floyd stops rick to the body tho, I still pick rick with a late Tko only cuz im sticking with the british hero that ive grown up watching, i own all of floyds fights and think hes the most talented fighter of this generation, and if fights at his best will stop rick or win a clear UD, but i think that he is taking Hatton far to lightly, and might be sleeping not dancing with the stars,
ps sorry for the pun not good!! :P

Yeah Floyds power is deceptive because of his sheer speed makes it look like there isnt much behind each blow. A little like SRL's in a way. I aint saying he has as much as SRL because he simply dont but i think Hatton knows PBF has power deep down and will respect his it.

I want Ricky to charge in and pound the hell out Floyd with head, shoulders, elbows and everything. If Floyd really goes toe to toe it will be a very interesting fight and will test both fighters ability to handle a lot of good body punches.... I just feel Ricky is going to find it hard to keep getting close in to pound away on Floyd. On the way in Floyd will will turn him 180 with 2 or 3 hard punches every time Ricky comes forward.
Floyd is just too damn fast and his punches are going to built up over the rounds... If Ricky can't get in enough, it'll be Floyd by UD simply through all the punches he'll land compared to Ricky.

The real wildcard in this fight that makes it so damn anticipated by the boxing community is Ricky's heart, determination, workrate, do or die attitude and pressure, and british toughness.... We all know Floyds game and it's easy to pick how he can dominate over Ricky.... But Hattons attributes just indicate that anything could happen, and their is always a chance of a battling hard fought win to the Brits. But it will take absolutely everything Ricky has, PLUS another 20% more that he's going to need to find during the fight.. And it's that final 20% that will gain Ricky Hatton worlds and worlds of respect if he can pull through and win this fight...

Since after the Urango fight Ricky has been one of the best conditioned athletes in the abdominal area i have ever seen!
Did you see the work he did on his stomach last time?!!!

More importantly i believe that Hatton is going to do this. Should i be wrong i will be here Dec 9th starting a post saying "i was wrong," but i'll have to see Ricky beat first.
