I think he is i also think he would of beat Margarito had he not had that injury to his hand i believe he broke his hand ?? but i know Margarito suffered severe sprained ankle and also injury to his left shoulder so i guess that pretty much evens it up but i like Clottey he has good defense and mixes his punches up well i want to see Clottey vs Margarito 2.

Margarito fought Clottey as a voluntary title defence. He did not HAVE to fight him and even in winning,didn't gain anything,so no,I don't think there will be a Tony v Clottey 2. And Margarito went INTO the fight with a sprained ankle and fractured wrist,hence the arm punches(Tony never throws that many arm punches usually). Tony still won,that's all that matters.

Clottey is a good fighter but a step below elite in my opinion.He has ALOT of skill but he has too many weaknesses to be elite such as poor stamina,slapping punches,can be outworked etc. A good fighter nontheless.

Williams and Collazo turned down fights with him. Williams was a business decision,what would he gain from beating Clottey?Collazo on the other hand,I believe ducked Clottey. There was a purse bid for the fight,Clottey's side didn't turn up,then in an interview over at boxing talk,Collazo said there was nothing to gain in fighting lClottey but then called out Golden Johnson(WTF?!)

So,NO,I don't think he's the "most feared ww" in any way,shape or form.

I don't think he is feared in the true aspect of it so to speak....I do think that he is a guy no one is looking to face unless they have to...Margarito did fight him on a volunteer basis but again like ICB said if Clottey did not get his hand hurt Tony would have lost his title to him....

Joshua is just a tough tough guy....fighting him is a little to gain everything to lose situation...why break you ass when even if you win you look bad doing it?

I would love to see Clottey vs Cotto, Clottey rehdrates up to almost 160 come fight night. Has a real sturdy chin and good speed, power.

Clottey is not feared. He's good, but I'm always a little cautious of fighter who made there names based on fights they lost.

I just read these in another forum:

"Arum is apparently dead set on these two fighting eachother. To prepare Cotto for this fight he put Cotto in there with Mosely and wants to match him with Clottey in March(assuming he can't land a fight between Cotto and DLH or Mayweather). The fight with Margo would be in June.

To prepare Margo for this fight he put him in there with tomato can Golden Johnson and wants to match him with washed up Jose Louis Castillo(this is not a typo) on Cotto's undercard in March."

Well Margarito was alos injuryed so he was not 100% and he starts late anyhow plus Clotty broke his hand hitting Margarito face so tough luck i guess. But after seeing Margarito fired up i would still pick him to beat Clotty healthy hand or not but i think Margarito needs to face Williams.
