Default This would be great imo

I was having a think about what will happen after the Hatton Mayweather fight and this would be great imo.

The winner to Fight Mosley, Cotto to fight Williams and the two left standing take to the ring next October.

    My thinking is this:
Mosley was not even close to being embaressed by Cotto and is head and shoulders above Margarito so a viable opponent for Hatton or Mayweather.
Williams deserves a shot at Cotto, more than the other available fighters anyhow.

This would serve to cement the legacy of Mayweather, Hatton or Cotto if any wish to be an all timer.
Mayweather obvious would barely need it if he beat Hatton, but if Hatton defeats mayweather and was to go on and beat Mosley then Cotto....legend. The same goes for Cotto, coming off a win over Mosley, to take Williams followed by Mayweather or Hatton would be mind blowing in terms of his legacy. Anyway, as a fans we would see the fights that we want to see and at the end would be left with an undisputed, unquestionably all time great at their peak.

Just a thought really, I know Dec 8th has to happen first but it's good to dream.

    I gotta say I don't agree.

Cintron & Williams unification is a good way for both of these guys to prove they're on top tier level.

I was at the Cotto fight with Mosley, and I felt he won soundly. If Mosley couldn't get his head to move out the way of a Cotto jab, he'd get creamed by Mayweather. Mosley's slow head movement in the fight shocked me, and I think that'd hurt him in the long run.

I'm no Margarito fan, but the guy is made of granite. I don't think todays Mosley is THAT far ahead of him.

I don't think Cotto should be William's next opponent either, Cintron is a good fight for him. On the Margarito front, I can't deny he is a great fighter. His comeback was awesome, but I see Mosley as more dynamic and ultimately a better challenge for either Hatton or Floyd. Resume wise he is miles ahead of Antonio, that's why I thought of him first.

I would love to see Mosley fight the winner. Ive seen the Cotto/Mosley fight 5 times now and although I agree Cotto won, the more I watch the fight the closer I think it was. I think Mosley/Mayweather or Mosley/Hatton would be great fights.

Probably best not to get me started on Cotto. I honestly think he's the best at Welter. I'd be gutted if Hatton ever fought him, because I couldn't see anything but a Cotto win.

Margo's comeback was against a poor opponent though. A rematch with Cintron would be great for him, or fighting Quintana. He needs a gritty opponent to show he's ready for another title shot.

The winner should face Cotto IMO, Cintron & Williams should collide, Mosley should face Margarito, Clottey & Collazo should fight. That would be an awesome start for me!
